It comes with a temporary Visible number, so your existing number and service can stay active while you check coverage. Your exact phone must pass Visible’s compatibility check; Android support does not mean every Android model qualifies.
What Visible’s Android trial includes
Visible expanded its eSIM network trial to supported Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones on November 1, 2023. The offer remains advertised on Visible’s website as of August 18, 2026. Its current consumer page describes a trial lasting up to 15 days, with no credit card required, no contract and no automatic renewal. Visible can change or end the offer, so confirm the terms on its free-trial page before enrolling.
The trial provides a temporary Visible phone number and access to Visible service on Verizon’s 5G and 4G LTE networks. It includes talk, text, data and unlimited mobile hotspot, but “unlimited” does not mean full-speed hotspot: the trial terms cap hotspot speeds at up to 5 Mbps. Calling is domestic only, international service and add-on features are excluded, and trial data may be temporarily slower than other traffic during congestion.
Which Android phones qualify?
Visible requires an eSIM-capable, compatible phone, and its legal terms describe the device as unlocked. eSIM support alone is not enough: a phone’s exact model variant, IMEI or lock status can prevent activation. Use Visible’s current compatibility check with the specific phone you plan to use rather than relying on the model family name.

At the 2023 launch, coverage identified Google Pixel 3 through Pixel 8 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S20 through S23 families, Note 20, and Z Fold and Z Flip models. That is a historical list, not a guarantee of current eligibility. Newer models may be supported, while a particular older or carrier-specific version may not pass today’s check.
There is an important wording mismatch to be aware of: Visible’s current consumer materials and Android app page refer to Android support, but its legal trial terms describe eligibility using iPhone-only wording. Because the pages do not align, confirm that the current signup flow accepts your Android device and review the terms before activation rather than assuming eligibility from the marketing page alone.

How the trial works alongside your current carrier
The trial is designed to add a second line through eSIM, not immediately replace your existing service. Your current carrier line and number can remain active while the Visible line uses a separate temporary number. The original Android launch explanation described switching between lines for calls, texts and data; the exact dual-SIM controls vary by phone and software version.
After activation, check which line is selected for mobile data, outgoing calls, SMS, RCS or chat features, MMS and group messages. Test messaging with the people and services you actually rely on: RCS registration, verification texts and group messaging can behave differently with two active SIMs. Keep your existing line selected where needed, and do not use the trial number for accounts or authentication that you need to retain.

How to start the free trial
- Open Visible’s free-trial page and start the compatibility check.
- Enter the exact phone information Visible requests. Confirm that the device is unlocked, eSIM-capable and accepted by the checker.
- Download the Visible app for Android, which Visible says supports activation, plan management and support.
- Follow the app’s eSIM instructions and approve adding the temporary Visible line to your phone.
- Set the preferred line for data and calls, then test service at home, work, on your commute and inside places where coverage matters to you.
Eligibility rules and the trial’s limits
Visible’s current trial page says participants must be in the United States, must not currently be Visible members, and must not have been a Visible member or used the trial in the previous 12 months. The legal terms add a one-trial-per-eSIM-device/IMEI limit and describe a one-per-person/device restriction within a 12-month period. Check the live checker and terms if you have used Visible before or are unsure whether a device has already had a trial.
- Locked phones: A phone that is paid off may still be carrier-locked. Ask the original carrier to complete the unlock before trying to activate.
- Physical SIM needs: This is an eSIM trial; it may not suit someone who requires a physical SIM for the test.
- International use: The trial’s calling is domestic and it does not include international add-ons.
- Hotspot and congestion: The 5 Mbps hotspot ceiling and possible congestion slowdowns may make the trial a poor stand-in for unrestricted hotspot or premium data performance.
- Plan differences: Testing the trial does not establish how every Visible+ feature or higher-tier plan benefit will perform.
What happens when the 15 days end?
The trial ends after up to 15 days unless you sign up for paid Visible service. Visible says the trial does not automatically renew. If you convert, you can use a new number or port your existing number into Visible; the trial number cannot be ported to another carrier, according to the legal terms. Treat it as temporary, not as a number to keep.

As of August 18, 2026, Visible’s homepage lists its standard plan at $25 per month with taxes and fees included. That is the current advertised base-plan price, not a promise about future pricing. Visible also presents Visible+ as an option after the trial; check the live plan details for its price and features rather than assuming the trial tested them.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is Visible worth trying?
The trial is most useful if you want to test Verizon-backed coverage in the places you actually use your phone before porting your number or canceling your current plan. A strong result at home but weak service at work—or the reverse—is more informative than a single speed check. Network access does not guarantee identical performance everywhere, and a slowdown in a crowded area may reflect congestion rather than lack of coverage.

It is a weaker fit if your phone fails the checker, you need international service during the test, you depend on hotspot speeds above the trial limit, or two-line messaging is inconvenient on your device. If the trial meets your needs, compare the current paid-plan terms with the way you use service before switching; keep the distinction clear between the temporary trial line and the number you intend to keep.
