Yes, Verizon’s shopping page has advertised Galaxy S25 phones “on us” without a trade-in. The clearest version requires four new smartphone lines on Unlimited Welcome with Auto Pay. The phones are financed for 36 months and reimbursed with matching bill credits, so this is not a free, unlocked phone with no commitment.
Because Verizon changes promotions, inventory and eligibility, confirm the exact offer in the live cart or My Verizon before ordering.

What “free” means here
Verizon’s Galaxy S25 product page showed a $799.99 retail price, a $22.22 monthly installment for 36 months and a matching $22.22 bill credit. The installment and credit net to $0 while you continue meeting the promotion’s conditions. Rounding makes the displayed installments total about $799.92 over 36 months.

You still pay for service and may owe sales tax, activation or upgrade fees, surcharges, insurance, accessories and other add-ons. A credit can also take one or two billing periods to appear, according to Verizon’s device-deals FAQ.
Who is most likely to qualify?
Families switching to Verizon
This is the clearest fit: four people need new Verizon lines and can remain on the qualifying plan for the full 36-month credit term.
Existing Verizon customers adding lines
You may be eligible if you add four qualifying smartphone lines, but adding unnecessary service just to obtain phones can cost more than buying a device separately. Check My Verizon for account-specific offers first.

Single-line shoppers
Do not assume the four-phone promotion applies to one line. The strongest no-trade-in listing is tied to four new lines; a one-line cart may show different pricing or no promotion.
Business accounts
Business offers have separate plan and device terms and should not be assumed to match this consumer promotion.
How to claim the promotion
- Open Verizon’s smartphone shopping page and find the live Galaxy S25 promotion.
- Select the eligible new Galaxy S25 model and storage option.
- Choose the switch-to-Verizon or add-new-lines path and add four smartphone lines.
- Select Unlimited Welcome if that is the plan specified in your cart.
- Enable Auto Pay and paperless billing if the displayed terms require them.
- Review the device agreement and confirm that each monthly promotional credit equals its device installment for 36 months.
- Check taxes, fees, activation charges and optional services before submitting the order.
- Save the promotion name or code, credit amount, plan requirement, line requirement and order confirmation.
- After activation, inspect the first one or two bills. If a credit is missing, contact Verizon before changing the plan or paying off a device.
Verify these details before you click submit
- All four lines are present; accidentally selecting one line can remove the offer.
- The selected storage tier and color are eligible and in stock.
- You chose a new device, not a certified pre-owned listing.
- The cart shows the required plan and Auto Pay status.
- The monthly device charge and monthly credit match.
- The cart identifies any port-in requirement, credit check, deposit or activation fee.
- Taxes, surcharges and optional insurance or accessories are separated from the advertised phone credit.
If the cart shows an installment without an equal credit, stop. Confirm the exact promotion with Verizon and keep the written disclosure.

The 36-month commitment and its risks
Promotional credits can stop if you cancel the qualifying line, move to an ineligible plan, pay off the device early, upgrade early or otherwise violate the offer’s terms. Verizon may then require payment of the remaining device balance. The exact effect of canceling one line in a multi-line promotion depends on that promotion’s agreement.
For example, if $500 remains on a phone after 12 months and you cancel, future credits may end and that balance may become due. Do not treat the promotion as a short-term free-phone trial.
Which S25 is included?
The individual Verizon listing identified the standard Galaxy S25, with 128GB and 256GB versions subject to availability. That does not automatically include the Galaxy S25+ or S25 Ultra. Verizon has run separate promotions for other models, including a historical 2025 holiday offer for an S25+; that announcement is not proof of today’s terms.

Is the phone unlocked?
Bill-credit eligibility and unlocking are separate issues. Verizon’s public material supplied for this offer does not establish a definitive unlock timeline for this specific purchase. Read the current unlock policy shown at checkout and in Verizon support, and do not assume a phone receiving promotional credits can be transferred immediately to another carrier.
When the deal makes financial sense
Usually a good fit
- You already need four lines and were considering Verizon service anyway.
- You expect to keep the qualifying lines and plan for 36 months.
- You want several new phones and have no suitable trade-ins.
- The displayed Verizon service cost is competitive with your alternatives after taxes and fees.
Usually a poor fit
- You need only one phone or one line.
- You would add lines solely to make the phones appear free.
- You may switch carriers, downgrade plans or upgrade before 36 months.
- You need an unlocked device immediately.
- A prepaid or MVNO plan plus an outright phone would cost less for your usage.

Use the price in your live checkout rather than treating the displayed $25-per-line figure as a permanent Verizon rate. Taxes, fees, surcharges and optional services are extra.
Bottom line
Verizon’s no-trade-in Galaxy S25 promotion is real in the shopping flow when available, but the strongest version is a four-phone, four-new-line deal. It is compelling for a family already planning a Verizon switch and willing to stay for 36 months. It is usually a bad bargain for someone adding unnecessary lines, planning to leave early or seeking one immediately unlocked phone.
