Short answer: The strongest PlayStation offers documented after Cyber Monday 2025 were a $449 PS5 disc console, a $399 PS5 digital console, the $299 PlayStation VR2 Horizon bundle, $20/£20 off PlayStation Portal, and $40/£50 off the DualSense Edge. Those were retailer snapshots reported on December 2, 2025—not prices guaranteed today.
Sony’s 2025 Black Friday/Cyber Monday promotion began November 21 and covered PS5 consoles, PS5 Pro, PS VR2, PlayStation Portal, DualSense controllers, games, PlayStation Plus and participating retailers. Sony advertised savings of up to $100 on eligible PS5 consoles in select regions and up to 75% on hundreds of PS5 and PS4 digital games.
What “still live” meant in this 2025 roundup
This is a historical deal list, not a claim that any offer remains available in 2026. A GamesRadar tracker dated December 2, 2025 said Cyber Monday had ended while some US discounts were still holding. Retailer, country, inventory and checkout price could change at any time. Treat every figure below as a dated reference and recheck the retailer before paying.
Sony’s official promotion started November 21, 2025, for a limited time. Its terms covered PlayStation Store, direct.playstation.com, PlayStation Gear and participating retailers. Sony’s published “up to” discounts were regional rather than universal.

How to choose among the hardware deals
Choose the digital PS5 when your library is download-only
The $399 Fortnite digital bundle and the reported $399 post-event digital-console price were the lowest documented US entry points. A digital PS5 cannot play disc games or used physical movies, so future purchases must come through PlayStation Store.
Choose the disc PS5 if you buy used or physical games
The reported $449 price for a disc edition cost more than the lowest digital figure but preserves access to boxed games, resale and borrowed discs. Compare the complete package: model, storage, included game content and whether a disc drive is actually installed.

Choose PS VR2 at $299 only if you want virtual reality
GamesRadar’s $299 Amazon snapshot made the Horizon bundle the standout accessory deal. It is a VR purchase, not a cheaper way to obtain a second PS5, and requires checking headset compatibility, available play space and the retailer’s return policy.
Choose Portal for remote play, not standalone gaming
The $20/£20 reduction applied to PlayStation Portal, which streams compatible games from your PS5 over a network. It does not replace a PS5 console; households without a PS5 should not treat the discounted Portal as a complete system.

- 🚀 CPU: 3.5GHz, 8-core AMD Zen 2
- 🚀 Storage: Custom 825GB SSD
- 🚀 RAM: 16GB GDDR6
- 🚀 GPU: 10.3 teraflop RDNA 2 GPU
Choose DualSense Edge only when its controls justify the premium
The $40/£50 saving reduced the price of Sony’s high-end controller. Its value is strongest for players who will use customizable controls and replaceable components; a standard DualSense remains the lower-cost option.
Game discounts: keep digital and physical prices separate
TechRadar reported US Cyber Monday digital prices of $29.99 for both EA Sports College Football 26 and Madden NFL 26, down from $69.99. It also reported Astro Bot at $39.97 from Walmart, versus $69.99. A digital discount generally creates a license tied to the purchasing account, while Walmart’s figure was a physical-retail snapshot; compare refund, resale and disc requirements before choosing.

Why geography changed the answer
Sony’s “up to $100 off” console statement applied only in select regions, and retailer stock could vary. The Philippines illustrates the difference: Sony’s Holiday Sale ran December 18–31, 2025 and listed PHP 5,600 off PS5 consoles, PHP 900 off DualSense controllers, PHP 1,700 off PULSE Explore earbuds and PHP 1,100 off PULSE Elite headsets. It also discounted selected games including DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH, Astro Bot, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Stellar Blade. Sony warned that prices and availability varied by retailer and that offers lasted while stocks remained.

- Confirm the country, retailer, currency and checkout total.
- Check whether the listing is digital-only, disc-equipped, a bundle or an accessory.
- Read the included-game or in-game-content description; bundle content may be account-bound.
- Compare the stated sale price with the stated list price and note whether the reduction is recurring or a one-time event.
- Verify storage capacity, model revision, warranty, shipping and return terms.
- Do not assume a December 2025 snapshot remains available; inventory and promotions can end without notice.
Bottom line
For the lowest documented US console price, the $399 digital PS5 was the clearest 2025 post-Cyber-Monday target. The $449 disc PS5 was the more flexible choice for physical-game buyers. At $299, PS VR2 was the notable enthusiast deal, while Portal and DualSense Edge were meaningful accessory discounts. All ten figures above are historical 2025 snapshots and require a live retailer check before purchase.
