The deadline to file a claim in Verizon’s Administrative Charges Settlement was April 15, 2024, and it has passed. If you already filed, check your claim or payment status through the official settlement administrator using the website or contact details on your settlement notice. A notice said eligible claimants could receive up to $100 per account, but that amount was not guaranteed.
What Verizon settlement is this?
This is the settlement over certain administrative charges billed to some Verizon postpaid wireless or data customers. It is not a settlement for every Verizon customer, and its $100 million figure refers to the proposed common settlement fund—not a guaranteed payment to each person.
The official notice described the covered class as U.S. individual consumer account holders, based on the last known billing address, who received Verizon postpaid wireless or data services and were charged and paid an Administrative Charge and/or Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge between January 1, 2016, and November 8, 2023. How do I claim my share of the Verizon settlement?
You cannot submit a timely claim through the original process now. The claim deadline was April 15, 2024. The settlement notice set that deadline; the available information does not establish that a new filing period has opened.

- If you never filed: the original claim window is closed. Do not rely on a third-party site or an unsolicited message promising to file a late claim.
- If you filed: use the official administrator’s website or the contact details on the notice you received to ask about your claim or payment. Verify that you are using the official settlement site before sharing personal information.
Am I eligible for the Verizon $100 million settlement?
To compare your circumstances with the notice, check each of these points:
- You were an individual consumer account holder, with a last known billing address in the United States.
- You had Verizon postpaid wireless or data service.
- You were charged and paid at least one of the specified administrative charges.
- The charge was imposed during the period from January 1, 2016, through November 8, 2023.
Meeting those conditions describes the class criteria, but it does not mean a claim can still be filed or that a payment is guaranteed. The original claim deadline has passed.

How much will I get from the Verizon settlement?
The settlement notice described a potential payment of up to $100 per account. The final amount could be lower, depending on factors including the length of the Verizon subscription and the number of valid claims. The notice did not promise that every class member would receive $100. See the settlement notice.
The proposed $100 million fund was intended to cover valid, timely claims as well as settlement administration and notice costs, attorneys’ fees and expenses subject to court approval, and class representative incentive awards subject to court approval. It is the total fund, not the amount available as an individual award. See the motion for final approval.

How can I check my Verizon settlement payment?
If you submitted a claim, contact the settlement administrator through the official website or contact information printed on your notice. The current status of any individual claim, the live status-check process, and whether all payments have been distributed are not established here. Do not assume that a payment is pending or complete without confirmation from the administrator.

The notice set February 20, 2024, as the deadline to request exclusion. It said that, if the court approved the settlement, people who did not exclude themselves would be bound by the court’s orders and judgments and would release claims relating to the lawsuit. The notice states: “If you do not exclude yourself, and the Court approves the settlement, you will be bound by the Court’s orders and judgments and will release your claims relating to this lawsuit.” Read the official notice.
