That deadline has passed. The fee-payment deadline was August 7, 2025, and the correction period ran August 9–12, 2025. For the current exam cycle, check the official UKUTET portal; it now displays UTET 2026 information.
What were the UTET 2025 application and fee deadlines?
UBSE’s UTET-I & II 2025 information brochure set the online application deadline at August 5, 2025, 11:59 PM. Fee payment was due separately, by August 7, 2025, 11:59 PM. The brochure listed debit or credit card, net banking, and UPI as payment methods.
The correction window was August 9–12, 2025, ending at 11:59 PM. The brochure stated that no corrections would be allowed after that date. The proposed exam date was September 27, 2025. All of these are 2025-cycle dates, not dates for a later cycle.
Can you still apply for UTET 2025?
No. The 2025 application period and its later fee-payment and correction windows have passed. The brochure said late applications and late fees would not be accepted and that fees would not be refunded. Do not rely on the old dates for a new application; consult the portal and the latest brochure for current-cycle deadlines and instructions.

Where to find current-cycle information and official study materials
Start at ukutet.com, which displays UTET 2026 information as of October 8, 2026. Check the current notice and brochure for dates, eligibility, fees, language choices, subject group, and any amendments before applying.
The portal also lists the official syllabus and past question booklets for UTET-I and UTET-II, including 2025 materials. Use the syllabus for the applicable cycle to guide preparation, then choose question papers and other resources that match your paper, language, and—if taking UTET-II—subject group.

Which UTET paper is for your class band?
| Paper | Class band | Question structure in the 2025 brochure |
|---|---|---|
| UTET-I | Classes I–V | 150 questions: 30 each in child development and pedagogy, first language, second language, mathematics, and environmental studies. |
| UTET-II | Classes VI–VIII | 150 questions: 30 each in child development and pedagogy, first language, and second language, plus a 60-question subject group aligned with the relevant teaching area. |
For both papers, the 2025 brochure specified 150 multiple-choice questions for 150 marks, a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes, and no negative marking. For UTET-II, the subject group depends on the teaching area: candidates should check the brochure’s detailed structure rather than assume every candidate takes the same 60-question section.
The brochure listed Hindi or English as first-language options, and Hindi, English, Sanskrit, or Urdu as second-language options. The second language had to differ from the first. Verify choices against the current-cycle instructions.

Check eligibility before starting an application
The 2025 brochure set out multiple eligibility routes for each paper. UTET-I routes included specified senior-secondary qualifications with minimum marks plus a recognized elementary-education teacher-training credential, as well as certain degree and training combinations. UTET-II had separate alternatives involving graduation or senior-secondary study with prescribed teacher-training credentials. Some routes included percentage thresholds, and qualifications had to meet recognition requirements.
Those examples are not a complete eligibility determination. Compare your qualifications with the full eligibility section of the applicable official brochure and any amendments before applying.
