Before Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois met at Wembley on July 19, 2025, media reports put their combined fight purse at about $200 million, with a reported 65% share for Usyk and 35% for Dubois. Those figures were estimates, not confirmed contract amounts. The fight has since taken place: Usyk stopped Dubois in the fifth round.
How much were Usyk and Dubois reported to earn?
The Standard reported an estimated combined purse of about $203 million, with approximately $132.8 million for Usyk and $71.22 million for Dubois. The Independent also reported a total just over $200 million and a 65/35 split, attributing those figures to RBC Ukraine. The publications’ totals are close but not identical.
These are reported estimates, not verified payments. The Standard said the official purse and split had not been disclosed, and The Independent said the fighters’ exact earnings were unknown. Neither report establishes a final amount paid to either boxer.

The figures should not be treated as an audited total or as proof of what either fighter ultimately received. The cited reports do not verify final earnings, bonuses, deductions, taxes, or other compensation, so they cannot be used to calculate either boxer’s take-home pay.

When and how did the rematch end?
The rematch took place at Wembley Stadium on July 19, 2025. The World Boxing Council’s event listing gives the date and venue; BBC Sport’s report says Usyk stopped Dubois in the fifth round.
The bout followed their first contest in Poland in August 2023, which Usyk won by ninth-round stoppage. Al Jazeera’s preview recounts the earlier fight and the controversy over a fifth-round punch ruled low. That history explains the rematch, but does not confirm its purse terms.
