The UPSSSC PET 2023 result was declared on January 29, 2024, with the result and scorecard made available on the commission’s official website, upsssc.gov.in. That was a historical process. Whether the 2023 result link still works in October 2026 has not been confirmed, so use the steps below to understand how candidates retrieved their scorecards, and check the official site for any current notice before relying on any link.
The timeline of the 2023 cycle
The Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) had its written examination on October 28 and 29, 2023. Contemporary news reports, which attributed the statement to the commission’s press release, said the result was declared on January 29, 2024. Those reports are the basis for the dates in this article; the original press release was not independently retrieved.
How candidates reportedly checked the result
Contemporary reporting describes the following route. Because no live copy of the page was available to confirm it, treat it as a record of the 2024 process rather than a current instruction.
- Open upsssc.gov.in in a web browser and confirm the address before entering any personal details.
- Select the Results section on the home page.
- Select the PET-2023 result or scorecard link.
- Enter the details the page requests. Reports do not describe the required credentials consistently, so have your registration details ready rather than relying on a single list.
- Submit the form, then view the scorecard on screen.
- Save or print the scorecard for your records.
If the link no longer opens, the evidence available here does not establish an alternative route. Be cautious with third-party websites that offer to retrieve a scorecard for a fee, since no such service is documented for this result.

Reported exceptions in the 2023 cycle
Telegraph India, in a 2024 report, attributed three sets of figures to a UPSSSC release. They describe the examination cycle as a whole and do not indicate the outcome for any individual candidate.
| Figure | What was reported | Source and date |
|---|---|---|
| 890 candidates | Provisionally admitted to the written examination | Telegraph India, 2024, attributing the figure to a UPSSSC release |
| Six candidates | Results reported as under scrutiny | Telegraph India, 2024, attributing the figure to a UPSSSC release |
| 31 candidates | Incorrect or missing question-book numbers on OMR sheets | Telegraph India, 2024, attributing the figure to a UPSSSC release |
Score validity
Scroll.in reported in 2024 that the PET score or certificate was valid for one year from its issue. That is a historical report, not a verified statement of current policy, and it does not show how the rule applied to later recruitment notices. Because the result was declared in January 2024, any one-year validity window measured from issue would have closed well before October 2026. Anyone who needs a PET score for a current application should check the official notice for that recruitment.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. If the 2023 result link does not open
- Confirm that you are on upsssc.gov.in itself, not a copy or a look-alike domain.
- Look in the Results section for archived PET notices before concluding the scorecard has been removed.
- Keep any saved or printed scorecard from the period when it was available, since the online copy may no longer be accessible.
- For any current PET or recruitment process, rely on the notice published by the commission rather than on news reports from 2024.
The sources here do not confirm that the 2023 link is still live. Treat the route above as the historical process and the commission’s official notices as the only reliable guide to current results.
