What was the final application deadline?
UPSC’s examination-notification archive lists 20 June 2025 at 12:00 as the last date to apply for both NDA & NA (II), 2025 and CDS (II), 2025. Applications for these 2025 cycles are no longer being accepted. Check UPSC’s examination-notification archive for the official entries.
The Revised Annual Calendar 2025 had initially scheduled 17 June 2025 as the NDA & NA (II) application deadline. The later exam-specific archive entry lists 20 June at 12:00 for both examinations; that is the final deadline shown in the notification archive.
Where was the application portal?
In a press note dated 28 May 2025, UPSC directed applicants for these examinations to its new online application portal, upsconline.nic.in. That portal information does not mean applications for the 2025 examinations are still open. The same press note stated: “The old One Time Registration (OTR) module will not be applicable henceforth.” This referred to the move to the new application system, not an extension of the deadline.

When were the exams, and are results available?
UPSC’s notification archive lists 14 September 2025 as the examination date for both NDA & NA (II) and CDS (II). UPSC’s final-result archive records these result-upload dates:
- NDA & NA (II), 2025: 8 April 2026.
- CDS (II), 2025: 30 March 2026.
- CDS (II), 2025 OTA result: 7 August 2026.
These are the dates UPSC lists for the result uploads, not new application or examination dates. See the official final-results archive for the entries.

What should candidates do for a later cycle?
For a future NDA or CDS cycle, check UPSC’s current notices for the applicable dates and requirements, then use the application route specified in that cycle’s notice. The dates and eligibility conditions for a later cycle are not established by the 2025 schedule.
