UPSC ESE Mains 2024 admit cards were reported issued on 17 June 2024, ahead of the examination on 23 June 2024. The 2024 card link is historical, not a current download: UPSC’s official e-admit-card index is the appropriate starting point for cards that are currently available.
Can you still download the UPSC ESE Mains 2024 admit card?
Do not rely on the old 2024 download link as a working portal. As of 8 October 2026, UPSC’s e-admit-card index links to its general online card portal and does not list the ESE Mains 2024 card as an active download. Candidates looking for an active examination card should check the official UPSC e-admit-card index.
What were the original download instructions?
Scroll’s 17 June 2024 report directed eligible candidates to UPSC’s website, where they could select the Engineering Services (Mains) Examination 2024 e-admit-card link, follow the download link, enter their credentials, review and download the displayed card, and print it. Those were instructions for the 2024 card when it was available; they do not establish that the old endpoint remains accessible.
When was the exam, and what were the session times?
The ESE Mains 2024 examination took place on 23 June 2024. Scroll reported two sessions: 9:00 a.m. to noon and 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. These are historical schedule details, not instructions for a later examination cycle.
India Today’s schedule report identified Paper I as the morning session and Paper II as the afternoon session for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering. Each discipline paper was described as a three-hour conventional paper carrying 300 marks.
