UPSC’s official interview-schedule and current-notice listings checked on 8 October 2026 did not show an EPFO interview schedule for 418 posts. The claim that a schedule has been released is therefore unverified. The figure 418 refers to an earlier EO/AO final-result cohort—not a newly announced interview schedule. Check UPSC’s official pages for any later update before relying on a date or reporting instruction.

Has UPSC released the EPFO interview schedule?

As of 8 October 2026, UPSC’s Interview Schedules and What’s New pages, as checked for this update, did not display an EPFO interview schedule. The schedule listing showed Engineering Services (Main) 2026 and Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) 2026, with upload dates of 7 September and 2 September 2026 respectively; it did not list EPFO.

This is not proof that no separate or subsequent notice exists: UPSC can update its listings. A third-party headline or informal discussion is not confirmation of an interview date. Candidates should use current official UPSC notices and their own summons to verify the latest status.

What does “418 posts” refer to?

EPFO’s appointment-formalities letter dated 14 February 2025 says UPSC declared the final result, or merit list, for 418 direct-recruitment Enforcement Officer/Accounts Officer (EO/AO) posts through a notice dated 2 January 2025. The 418 figure is tied to that final-result cohort; it does not establish that UPSC has released a new interview schedule. See the EPFO appointment-formalities letter.

How the 418 figure differs from later vacancies

A separate EPFO circular dated 8 August 2025 describes UPSC Special Recruitment Advertisement No. 52/2025, issued on 29 July 2025. That advertisement listed 156 EO/AO posts and 74 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts. These are later advertised vacancies, distinct from the 418 EO/AO posts associated with the January 2025 final result. The EPFO circular records those figures.

Where to check your interview date and instructions

  1. Open UPSC’s Interview Schedules page and look for the relevant EPFO recruitment notice.
  2. Check UPSC’s What’s New listing for a related current notice or update.
  3. Use UPSC’s official e-summon service and follow the candidate-specific summons for your date, time, venue and reporting instructions.

The listings checked for this update did not provide an EPFO-specific interview date, time or venue. Do not infer personal reporting details from the post count or another candidate’s information; follow the current official schedule and your own summons.
