What was the official application link?
UPSC directed candidates to apply online at https://upsconline.nic.in. In Examination Notice No. 01/2025-GEOL, dated 4 September 2024, the Commission stated: “Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://upsconline.nic.in.”
One Time Registration was required first
Applicants who had not already registered had to complete One Time Registration (OTR) before filling out the exam application and submitting the requested information and documents. UPSC’s notice said: “It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed for filling up the online application.”
