UPPSC declared the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Preliminary Examination 2024 result on March 1, 2025. The announcement reported that 15,066 candidates qualified for the Main examination, with 947 vacancies reported for that recruitment cycle. This is a historical 2024-cycle result, not information about a later PCS recruitment cycle.
What the 2024 result figures mean
The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) reported 15,066 candidates qualified for the Main examination. The 947 vacancies were reported for that Main examination; they are not a promise that every qualified candidate will be appointed, nor a final selection count. NDTV reported the result and figures on March 1, 2025.

News reports described a route through UPPSC’s Recruitment Dashboard, but the safest source for an individual result is the commission’s own 2024 result entry. Scroll described the dashboard route; treat it as historical guidance, not a guarantee that the interface remains the same.
