When was the UP DElEd 2023 state rank card released?
Scroll and NDTV India both reported the release on September 13, 2023. The card related to the 2023 admission cycle, not a current rank announcement.
How candidates were told to download the 2023 rank card
Contemporaneous reports described using the official UP DElEd portal and its state-rank lookup. Menu wording varied: Scroll referred to “Know your State rank,” while other reports described rank login. The following is the process reported in 2023, not a verified current walkthrough.
- Visit updeled.gov.in, the official portal.
- Open the state-rank lookup or rank-login service.
- Select the course and enter the requested registration details. NDTV specified registration number and date of birth; Dainik Jagran also mentioned a captcha.
- View the rank card displayed on screen, then download it. Printing a copy was suggested for reference.
Do not assume the 2023 lookup remains available: the current official portal page reviewed here shows services for the 2026 cycle, and does not establish that an old card or endpoint can still be accessed.

Reports described admission as merit-based and said no entrance examination was held for that cycle. Scroll reported that registration ran from June 2 through August 31, 2023. NDTV reported that counselling was scheduled to begin September 15, 2023. These are historical dates, not current deadlines.
Reported applicant count
NDTV India reported approximately 2.25 lakh applicants in 2023. That figure is attributed to NDTV; the available source set does not establish it as an official statistical count.

The portal identifies the U.P. Pariksha Niyamak Pradhikari, Prayagraj, and says it is designed and hosted by NIC, with content provided by the authority. Its current page includes rank lookup and other candidate services for 2026, but it does not confirm ongoing access to 2023 records.
