Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallVerdict: I would not treat Unitrader as a verified, trustworthy broker unless you can match its exact legal entity, website and contact details to a current entry on an official regulator’s register. The name alone is not enough to establish that the service is authorised, and an attractive website, trading dashboard or claimed registration number does not prove legitimacy.
That does not, by itself, prove that every service using the Unitrader name is a scam. It does mean the burden of proof is on the operator—and on anyone asking you to deposit money.
What is Unitrader?
“Unitrader” is not a sufficient identification of a financial firm. Several unrelated websites, apps or businesses can use similar trading names, while the regulated company—if there is one—may have a different legal name.
Before assessing the service, record the exact:
- website address, including the domain ending;
- company name shown in the terms and conditions;
- company registration number and jurisdiction;
- financial regulator and licence number;
- telephone number, email domain and physical address; and
- entity that will hold your money and execute your trades.
If Unitrader does not clearly disclose those details, that is a serious warning sign. A broker cannot be properly checked merely by searching its brand name.

Is Unitrader regulated?
The decisive check is an official regulator register, not a badge displayed on the broker’s website. For a UK customer, use the FCA Financial Services Register. Search both “Unitrader” and the exact legal company name. Then open the record and compare the firm’s permitted activities, website, telephone number and address with the details you were given.
For a broker claiming an overseas licence, use the regulator’s own register—for example, ASIC in Australia, CySEC in Cyprus, the NFA/CFTC in the United States, or the relevant authority in the claimed jurisdiction. Do not rely on a PDF certificate, a screenshot, a company-registration record or a regulator logo.
A company can be registered at Companies House or another corporate registry without being authorised to provide investments. Company registration is not the same as a broker licence.
What a genuine register match should show
| Check | What should match | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Legal entity | The name in the register is the entity in the broker’s terms | Scammers often borrow another firm’s name |
| Website | The regulator lists the exact domain, not a similar spelling | Clone firms can copy a genuine broker’s details |
| Permissions | The firm is permitted to offer the products you are buying | A licence for one activity does not authorise all financial services |
| Contact details | Telephone number and address match independently | Fraudsters may substitute their own contact information |
| Status | The entry is current and not restricted or withdrawn | Old authorisation is not current authorisation |
Warning signs to look for
Do not deposit with Unitrader if the approach involves several of the following features:
- an unsolicited call, WhatsApp message, Telegram chat or social-media direct message;
- guaranteed returns, “risk-free” profits or unusually consistent daily gains;
- pressure to deposit immediately to secure a bonus or preferred account;
- a request to pay tax, commission, insurance or a withdrawal fee before releasing your money;
- payment to a personal bank account, unrelated company, crypto wallet or unfamiliar payment processor;
- requests for remote-access software such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer;
- an account manager who insists on making trades for you;
- a minimum deposit that increases after you say you want to withdraw;
- reviews that are mostly copied, anonymous or published only on the broker’s own site; or
- terms that omit the legal company, governing law, complaints route and regulator.
A professional-looking trading platform proves very little. Fraudulent operators can provide a convincing dashboard showing profits that do not exist and can delay withdrawals while requesting more money.
Does a trading licence make the money safe?
No. Even a properly authorised CFD or forex broker does not protect you from market losses, excessive leverage, poor strategy or a failed trade. Regulation may provide conduct rules, segregation requirements, complaint routes and—depending on the jurisdiction and product—compensation protection. The precise protection depends on the authorised entity and account.
Do not assume that a broker’s claimed offshore licence gives UK-style protection. A warning on a regulator’s website is also not the only test: the absence of a warning does not prove that a firm is legitimate.
How to check Unitrader before depositing
- Save the evidence. Take screenshots of the homepage, legal notice, account-opening page, payment instructions and terms. Keep emails, phone numbers and chat logs.
- Find the legal entity. Look in the footer, terms, privacy policy and client agreement. If the documents only say “Unitrader” or use inconsistent company names, stop.
- Search the regulator directly. Type the regulator’s address into your browser yourself. Do not use a link supplied by the salesperson.
- Compare the domain exactly.
unitrader.example,unitrader-trade.exampleand a misspelled domain are different websites. A register match must be exact. - Check the permissions. Confirm that the firm may provide the specific service—such as dealing in CFDs, managing investments or holding client money.
- Verify the payment beneficiary. The name on the bank account or card payment page should make sense for the authorised entity. A crypto-only deposit route is a major risk factor.
- Test the withdrawal terms. Read minimum withdrawal amounts, fees, processing times, verification rules and any right to refuse withdrawals. Never pay an extra deposit to unlock a withdrawal.
- Check independent warnings. Search the FCA, your domestic regulator and consumer-fraud reporting service for the domain, legal name and telephone number.
If any step cannot be completed independently, do not send money or identity documents.

Can you trust Unitrader reviews?
Reviews are useful for identifying complaints, but they are weak evidence of authorisation. Positive testimonials may be affiliate advertising, paid content or fabricated accounts. Negative reviews can also relate to a different website using a similar name.
Give more weight to evidence such as a current regulator entry, a clear client agreement, independently verifiable company details and a normal withdrawal experience. Be especially sceptical of reviews that promise guaranteed profits or contain a referral link.

- Stop sending money. Do not pay a supposed tax, release charge or recovery fee.
- Contact your bank or card provider immediately. Explain that you may have been deceived by an investment scam and ask whether a payment recall, chargeback or fraud process is available. Speed matters.
- Report it. UK residents can report suspected fraud to Action Fraud and report an unauthorised or suspicious firm to the FCA.
- Secure your accounts. Change reused passwords, enable two-factor authentication and tell your bank that your details may have been exposed.
- Remove remote-access tools. Uninstall software the caller asked you to use, then run security checks and update the device.
- Preserve records. Keep wallet addresses, transaction IDs, bank details, emails, recordings where lawful and screenshots for the bank and authorities.
Be wary of anyone who contacts you claiming they can recover the money for an upfront payment. Recovery scams commonly target people who have already lost money.
Is Unitrader suitable for beginners?
Until its legal identity and regulatory status are independently confirmed, no. Beginners should not use an unverified broker, particularly one offering leveraged forex or CFD trading. Leverage can magnify losses quickly, and a platform’s displayed balance is not evidence that funds can be withdrawn.

FAQ
Is Unitrader a scam?
The name alone does not establish which firm is involved. I could not verify a clearly identifiable, regulator-authorised broker from the information supplied, so Unitrader should be treated as unverified and high risk until its exact legal entity, domain and licence match an official regulator register.
Is Unitrader FCA authorised?
Do not assume it is. Search the exact Unitrader website and legal entity on the FCA Financial Services Register. A claimed FCA number, logo or copied address is not proof of authorisation.
Can Unitrader steal my money?
Any unverified trading website can expose you to deposit fraud, fake profits and withdrawal demands. Never pay additional money to release a balance. Contact your bank immediately if you have already deposited.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsDoes a Companies House registration prove Unitrader is legitimate?
No. Companies House records corporate registration; it does not authorise a company to provide investment services or guarantee that the website contacting you belongs to that company.
What is the safest way to test a broker?
Verify the exact legal entity and domain with the regulator first. If you proceed with an authorised broker, read the client agreement and test a small withdrawal. A small successful withdrawal does not prove that a firm is safe, but refusal or demands for extra payment are clear warning signs.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Unitrader is not sufficiently verified here to recommend as a legitimate broker. The correct conclusion is not that every business using the name has been proven fraudulent; it is that you should not deposit until the exact website and legal entity are confirmed on an official regulator register. Unsolicited contact, guaranteed returns, crypto payments, remote-access requests or fees demanded before withdrawal should be treated as scam indicators.
