The last date to apply for UKSSSC Advertisement No. 61/UKSSSC/2024 was 14 October 2024. This recruitment is closed; the old “today” headline referred to that date, not a current application opportunity. The notice was reported to cover 257 Personal Assistant, Stenographer and related posts.
What the 2024 UKSSSC recruitment covered
UKSSSC’s Advertisement No. 61/UKSSSC/2024 was reported as a 257-vacancy recruitment. The listed post labels included Additional Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, Stenographer and Stenographer-cum-Data Entry Operator. Reliable post-wise vacancy counts and role-specific terms are not established by the accessible sources. In particular, a general figure in an archived listing should not be treated as the eligibility or pay requirement for every post.

Why exact eligibility and salary details are not included
The official notification linked from the 2024 report returned a 404 when checked, and the accessible archived listing directs readers to that notification for post-specific terms. The available sources therefore do not establish reliable post-wise vacancy allocations, education requirements, age limits, shorthand or typing thresholds, pay scales, or selection stages. Do not rely on generic archive fields as if they applied to a particular post.
Anyone checking a similar or later vacancy should use the specific official notification and any subsequent UKSSSC notice for that recruitment. The UKSSSC homepage is available at the commission’s official website, but a current homepage notice is not a substitute for the terms of this closed 2024 advertisement.
