UKSSSC invited applications for 1,544 Assistant Teacher (LT) posts in Uttarakhand in 2024. Contemporary reports gave March 22–April 12, 2024, as the application window. That window has closed; this is a historical recruitment announcement, not an open application opportunity.

Hindustan Times reported an age range of 21–42 years and an application fee of ₹300 for General and OBC candidates and ₹150 for SC, ST, EWS and PwBD candidates. It also reported an exemption for orphan candidates. These are details from contemporary reporting, not a substitute for the recruitment notice: age cutoffs, relaxations, category eligibility and exemptions should be verified against the original official notice.

Use the UKSSSC official portal and its recruitment-notification page for authoritative notices, candidate updates and results. The pages include later Assistant Teacher (LT) material, but those listings alone do not show whether they relate to the 1,544-post 2024 drive or establish its final selection outcome. Do not treat a later generic LT notice as a result or status update for this specific recruitment without confirming the advertisement details.
