What was the recruitment?
The recruiting body was the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). Although the recruitment alert appeared in 2024, the examination name included “2023”: Investigator cum Computer and Assistant Statistical Officer Examination 2023. UKPSC’s June 2025 notice identifies the original advertisement as A-1/E-1/DR(ICC/ASO)/2023-24, dated February 7, 2024, and notes a corrigendum dated September 12, 2024.

The 223-vacancy figure was reported by Scroll.in in its February 7, 2024 alert; it should not be treated as a current vacancy count or as confirmation that openings remain available.
Application fee figures reported in 2024
Scroll.in reported the following application fees for the 2024 alert. These are the amounts stated in that contemporaneous report, not independently rechecked current fees:
#1 Best Overall
- Rs 172.30 for General, EWS, and Uttarakhand State OBC applicants.
- Rs 82.30 for Uttarakhand State SC/ST applicants.
- Rs 22.30 for State PwD applicants.
Scroll.in’s February 7, 2024 report also described the application process then in effect: visiting the UKPSC site, opening Recruitments, selecting the ICC/ASO link, registering, completing the form and uploading documents, submitting it, and retaining a printout. Those directions are historical and are not a route to apply now.
Where to check official recruitment updates
For this recruitment’s later-stage status or any future UKPSC notification, use the official UKPSC website and match notices to their examination name and advertisement number. UKPSC’s June 10, 2025 notice documents the mains examination and subsequent result, computer-operation/Hindi typing, and document-verification activity; it does not reopen the February 2024 application window.
