The UKPSC Additional Private Secretary (APS) Exam-2024 admit-card alert is historical: Scroll reported its release on 8 November 2024 for examinations scheduled from 25 November to 19 December 2024. Those dates have passed, so the old “direct link to download” should not be treated as a live admit-card link. For current candidate records or notices, start at the official UKPSC website.
What the 2024 UKPSC APS admit-card notice said
Scroll’s 8 November 2024 report said candidates could visit psc.uk.gov.in, choose the APS admit-card link, sign in with their login details, download the card and print it. The report’s direct link led to the commission’s candidate portal. That describes the steps published at the time; it does not confirm that the historical portal link remains accessible or that an admit card can still be downloaded.
The report gave an examination window of 25 November to 19 December 2024 and said the recruitment aimed to fill 103 posts. Both the dates and the post count are figures from Scroll’s 2024 report, not a current recruitment update. Read Scroll’s original report.
Later stages in the APS-2024 recruitment
The recruitment continued beyond the written-exam window described in the original alert. Scroll reported on 20 January 2025 that the computer knowledge examination was scheduled between 27 January and 13 February 2025, with 1,653 candidates shortlisted for that stage. The 1,653 figure and the 103-post total are historical figures reported by Scroll, not a current candidate count. Read Scroll’s January 2025 report.

In a notice dated 5 February 2026, the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission said shorthand examination results had been declared on 3 February 2026 and scheduled the main written examination for 14 March 2026. Those dates are also past. Check UKPSC notices for any later developments.
A UKPSC homepage capture listed an APS-2024 document-verification programme dated 16 April 2026 and an amended answer key dated 7 May 2026. These entries establish that the recruitment had reached later stages by those dates; they do not establish its exact status on 8 October 2026. The captured homepage is not a substitute for checking the live commission site.

- Open psc.uk.gov.in, the UKPSC official website.
- Look for the latest APS-2024 notice or candidate-service link. Use the notice’s own instructions for the relevant stage.
- If the commission directs candidates to sign in through a candidate portal, follow the link from its current official notice rather than relying on an old saved download URL.
UKPSC’s computer knowledge examination instructions applied to that specific historical test: they said no internet access would be provided in the exam hall, candidates would receive an answer sheet for descriptive responses or steps, specified disability subcategories would receive 30 additional minutes, and answers could be written in Hindi or English. These conditions should not be assumed to apply to another APS stage; check the instructions issued for that examination.
