The UKPSC admit card for the Lab Assistant, Forensic Science Laboratory (Group-C) Exam-2023 was reported as released in May 2024, with the examination set for May 26, 2024 and 107 vacancies in the recruitment drive. That exam is now in the past, so the 2024 download steps below are a historical record, not a working route to an admit card today. If you are looking for a current UKPSC admit card, use the checklist later in this article and read the official notice for the exam you applied for.
Which UKPSC Lab Assistant exam the 2024 reports covered
The headline “UKPSC admit card 2024 released for Lab Assistant and other posts” is easy to misread. The article it introduces concerns one recruitment: the Lab Assistant, Forensic Science Laboratory (Group-C) Exam-2023. A separate, similarly named recruitment, the Laboratory Assistant, Higher Education Department Exam-2023, had its own admit card and its own dates in the same period. The two should not be merged.
| Item | Forensic Science Laboratory (Group-C) Exam-2023 | Laboratory Assistant, Higher Education Department Exam-2023 |
|---|---|---|
| Department or exam name | Forensic Science Laboratory, Group-C | Higher Education Department |
| Reported admit card release | May 2024, per Scroll’s report dated May 13, 2024 | From April 15, 2024, per a third-party recruitment page |
| Reported exam dates | May 26, 2024 | April 27–29 and May 7–8, 2024 |
| Reported vacancies | 107, per Scroll’s report | Not stated in the sources reviewed |
| Strength of the source | Newspaper report; the original UKPSC notice text was not reviewed for this article | Third-party page; not checked against the original UKPSC notice |
Because the two exams had different dates, a reader who sees “Lab Assistant” alone cannot tell which admission ticket applies. Match the department name on your own application or call letter before you rely on any date.
What the May 2024 reporting said about the forensic science exam
Scroll’s report, dated May 13, 2024, said the admit card had been released and gave May 26, 2024 as the examination date. It described the drive as aimed at filling 107 vacancies. Those two figures come from the newspaper article; the wording of the UKPSC notice itself was not quoted in the reporting reviewed here.

Why the 2024 link is not a route to a current admit card
An admit card is issued for a specific examination on a specific date. Once that exam has taken place, the portal link for it may be removed, disabled, or left as an archive page. The reporting reviewed here does not establish whether the 2024 forensic science link is still live, and this article does not claim that it is. A search result pointing to an old link should be checked against the UKPSC’s own notices before you enter any personal details.

How to find a current UKPSC admit card
Use this sequence whenever you need an admit card for a UKPSC recruitment:
- Confirm the exact post and department name from your application form, such as “Forensic Science Laboratory” or “Higher Education Department.”
- Go to the UKPSC’s official website and open its notices or recruitment section. Do not rely on a third-party page to tell you the exam date.
- Find the notice that names your post and check the exam date, session timing, and any instructions about the admit card.
- Follow the admit card link given in that notice and log in with the details you registered with.
- Download the admit card, check that the name, roll or registration details, and exam centre match your application, and print a copy.
If the official site shows a different date from a news report or a recruitment aggregator, the official notice governs.

Why UKPSC exam calendars can change
UKPSC publishes an exam calendar, and the calendar has been revised more than once. A date printed in an article may therefore be superseded. Before planning travel or leave around an exam, compare the date against the latest version of the calendar and the specific notice for your post. The original UKPSC notice text for the forensic science exam, including eligibility rules and session timings, is not reproduced in this article, so those details should be taken from the notice itself.
What to do if you cannot find your admit card
- If the official notice for your post lists an admit card link, use that link and not an older one.
- If no admit card appears, check the UKPSC notices for any correction or postponement before contacting anyone.
- Keep your application confirmation and registration details at hand, since the portal login depends on them.
- Report any mismatch in your personal details through the official channel named in the notice, and keep a record of the date you raised it.
Scroll’s May 2024 report is useful as a historical reference for the forensic science exam’s date and vacancy count. For any action you need to take now, rely on the official UKPSC notice for your post.
