The UGC-NET June 2024 application correction window ran from 21 May through 23 May 2024. The National Testing Agency (NTA) allowed corrections until 11:59 p.m. on 23 May. That deadline has passed; the 2024 application cannot now be edited through that window.

When was the UGC-NET June 2024 correction window?

NTA’s public notice, dated 20 May 2024, set the correction period for registered candidates from 21 May to 23 May 2024, ending at 11:59 p.m. on 23 May. The notice described this as a one-time facility and said corrections would not be accepted after the deadline. NTA’s UGC-NET website was the online route for making changes while the window was live.

Why did the dates change?

An NTA notice dated 15 May 2024 extended the online application submission deadline to 19 May and the fee-payment deadline to 20 May. It also shifted the correction window from the earlier 18–20 May dates to 21–23 May. The revised schedule notice directed candidates to make corrections online through the UGC-NET website when the window was live.

Was there a correction fee?

NTA said an additional fee was payable wherever applicable. The notice listed credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI as payment methods. It did not establish a fixed fee applicable to every candidate, so no single amount should be assumed.

Can you still correct the June 2024 application?

No. The published correction period ended in 2024, and NTA said it would not entertain corrections after the deadline or provide another correction chance. The current UGC-NET website displays newer cycle information and June 2024 post-exam links rather than an active correction window. For help with another cycle, check the applicable current notice on the official UGC-NET portal; do not rely on the June 2024 dates.

Which details could candidates edit?

The 20 May notice instructed registered candidates to verify their application particulars and make any required changes according to Annexure I. The field-by-field list is not reproduced here, so it would be unreliable to claim that a particular detail could or could not be edited based on the schedule notice alone.
