No official purse or total-pay figure has been published for Justin Gaethje, Paddy Pimblett, or Sean O’Malley at UFC 324. The only event-specific salary table we found is an estimate from UFC Fans, dated January 26, 2026. It puts Gaethje at $1,382,000, Pimblett at $1,207,000, and O’Malley at $261,000. Those numbers should be read as one outlet’s modeling, not as paychecks. The UFC does not disclose fighter contracts, and the estimate itself says official purse data are unavailable.
UFC 324 took place on January 24, 2026, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Gaethje beat Pimblett by unanimous decision for the interim lightweight title, and O’Malley beat Song Yadong by unanimous decision.
What the published figures actually measure
Fighter pay in the UFC comes in several separate streams, and public coverage often blends them. A reader comparing two names needs to know which stream each number represents and who produced it.
The estimate: UFC Fans
UFC Fans published the largest set of event-specific figures we could locate. Its table breaks each fighter’s estimated amount into base pay, compliance incentive pay, a possible penalty, and bonus. The site builds its numbers from historical purse standards because the promotion does not release actual purses. It also says its totals capture only part of what a fighter may earn, so they should not be treated as complete compensation.

The compliance payment: MMA Junkie via Yahoo Sports
A separate report from MMA Junkie, republished by Yahoo Sports, covers the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program. It lists $11,000 for Sean O’Malley and $16,000 for Song Yadong. These are program payments tied to qualifying bouts, including qualifying bouts in the Zuffa-era WEC and Strikeforce promotions. They are not a base purse, and they are not a fighter’s full pay for the night.
The bonus: UFC post-event coverage
UFC’s own bonus coverage identified Gaethje versus Pimblett as Fight of the Night. The UFC Fans estimate lists a $100,000 bonus for each fighter in that bout. The official coverage establishes the bonus award; the dollar amount for each fighter comes from the estimate and is not separately confirmed in the official text we could access.

The listing: Salary Sport
Salary Sport’s UFC 324 page shows $100,000 Fight of the Night entries for Gaethje and Pimblett. It is a secondary listing, and its wording does not establish that those entries are base purses. Treat them as bonus entries.
Figures by fighter
| Fighter | Figure reported | What the figure is | Source and status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Justin Gaethje | $1,382,000 (total estimate) | Estimated base pay, plus $32,000 incentive pay and a $100,000 bonus | UFC Fans estimate, January 26, 2026. Not official total pay. |
| Paddy Pimblett | $1,207,000 (total estimate) | Estimated base pay, plus $32,000 incentive pay and a $100,000 bonus | UFC Fans estimate, January 26, 2026. Not official total pay. |
| Sean O’Malley | $261,000 (total estimate) | Estimated base pay, plus an $11,000 incentive-pay estimate | UFC Fans estimate, January 26, 2026. Not official total pay. |
| Sean O’Malley | $11,000 (compliance pay) | UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program payment | MMA Junkie report, republished by Yahoo Sports, 2026. Program payment only. |
| Song Yadong | $16,000 (compliance pay) | UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program payment | MMA Junkie report, republished by Yahoo Sports, 2026. Program payment only. |
The UFC Fans total for O’Malley is lower than the other two, but the estimate does not describe his base pay separately from the incentive amount in the figures we could access, so the $261,000 total should not be compared line by line with the other two without that caveat.

How to read these numbers
- Check the category before comparing names. A $100,000 bonus and a $16,000 compliance payment are different kinds of income, even though both appear in the same coverage.
- Check whether the figure is an estimate. The $1,382,000, $1,207,000, and $261,000 totals are estimates, not confirmed earnings.
- Check the date and the publisher. The UFC Fans figures are dated January 26, 2026. Compliance-pay figures come from a separate MMA Junkie report.
- Do not add categories together unless a source explicitly defines the total and verifies each component. Combining a modeled base estimate with a separately reported bonus creates a number no source has published.
Event results and what they confirm
The Nevada State Athletic Commission record for January 24, 2026 confirms the event and bout outcomes, but it contains no pay data. Gaethje won by unanimous decision with scores of 48–47, 49–46, and 49–46. O’Malley won by unanimous decision with all three judges scoring 29–28. Those results matter for pay only in the sense that bonuses and compliance categories are tied to the bout and the program, not to the outcome alone.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What would change the picture
The UFC has not published base purses, win bonuses, or total pay for this card in the sources we accessed. A reliable figure would need a fighter’s own disclosure, a contract or commission filing that names the amount, or an official UFC statement that breaks out each component. Until one of those appears, the estimates above are the best available public numbers, and they should be cited with their limits attached.
