BetMGM’s published estimates put Islam Makhachev’s UFC 322 payout at $3,332,000 and Jack Della Maddalena’s at $1,992,000. The same estimates list Valentina Shevchenko at $1,392,000 and Zhang Weili at $832,000. These are estimated total payouts—not confirmed official purses or verified totals of all compensation.
UFC 322 estimated payouts
BetMGM published the following estimated total payouts in its November 17, 2025 article, UFC 322: Della Maddalena vs. Makhachev Payouts & Fighters Salaries:
| Fighter | BetMGM estimated total payout |
|---|---|
| Islam Makhachev | $3,332,000 |
| Jack Della Maddalena | $1,992,000 |
| Valentina Shevchenko | $1,392,000 |
| Zhang Weili | $832,000 |
BetMGM labels these figures as estimates. The figures do not establish the fighters’ contracted purses, and the article’s available details do not explain enough about the calculation to verify which pay components are included. Treat them as that publisher’s estimates rather than official disclosures.
What the estimates do—and do not—tell you
“Purse,” “salary” and “payout” are often used loosely in fight coverage, but they are not automatically interchangeable. A reported estimate of total payout may combine or reflect categories that differ from a disclosed bout purse. The BetMGM figures should not be presented as official commission filings or as a complete accounting of each fighter’s compensation.

A separate payment category was reported for the event: MMA Junkie, in reporting syndicated by Yahoo Sports, put UFC 322’s total Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay at $350,500. This is a program payment total, not the event’s total purse or total fighter compensation. The available reporting does not establish that it can be added to BetMGM’s estimates, so the figures should remain separate.
Nor do the estimates verify any performance bonus or other compensation component. Without an authoritative disclosure explaining the amounts and what they include, a single figure cannot be treated as a complete accounting of what a fighter earned.
