The announcements offered both on-demand and scheduled delivery, but they do not confirm which Grocery Outlet stores are available today or what an order will cost. Check your address in Uber or Uber Eats and review the checkout screen for current availability and terms.
What the Uber–Grocery Outlet partnership offered
The partnership let customers shop Grocery Outlet through Uber and Uber Eats, with a choice between on-demand and scheduled delivery. The companies described it as a pilot when it launched; their later announcement reported a wider footprint. These are historical announcements, not a live store locator or confirmation that every location remains active.

The figures describe what Uber announced at those points in 2022. They should not be read as a current count of participating stores.
How to check current availability and order
- Open Uber Eats and select Grocery, or open Uber and select Shops.
- Enter or confirm the delivery address, then look for a participating Grocery Outlet storefront. A historical state or city footprint does not guarantee a listing for a particular address.
- If Grocery Outlet appears, browse its available products and choose on-demand or scheduled delivery if the local storefront offers both.
- Review the checkout screen before placing the order. It shows the current fees, minimums, estimated timing, and any applicable terms for that order.
- Track the order in the app after placing it.

On-demand or scheduled: which should you choose?
The announcements establish a timing choice, not a price or speed advantage. Availability of either option can depend on the local storefront and order time.
- Choose on-demand if the app offers it and you want delivery without selecting a future slot.
- Choose scheduled if the app offers a delivery window that better fits your plans.
Compare the timing and checkout total shown for your address; the partnership announcements do not establish which option is faster or cheaper.

What to know about old promotions and Uber One terms
The launch announcement described a first-order $0 delivery-fee promotion on a qualifying order of at least $30, with terms ending June 19, 2022. It also stated that Uber One members then received $0 delivery fees on Grocery Outlet orders with a $15 minimum. The November 2022 expansion announcement described a $10 discount on a $40 order through November 30, 2022, and Uber One terms of $0 delivery fees and 5% off qualifying orders over $35 at eligible stores marked with the Uber One icon. These were time-limited or announcement-specific terms; they are not evidence of current offers. Check the app for any offer and its conditions.

Uber’s September 2025 general grocery guidance describes replacement preferences, editing items before a shopper places them in the cart, and live chat in which shoppers can share photos of unavailable or lower-quality items. The same article says its Fresh Guarantee applies to eligible fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs, dairy, raw meat, or seafood purchased from a store listed in Uber Eats’ Grocery section. It says issues must be reported within 48 hours with a clear photo, and exclusions apply.
