What did the industry say about the decline?
AEM senior vice president Curt Blades said the monthly figures reflected “the continued economic pressures farmers have been navigating for the past several months.” He described the slowdown as short term and said manufacturers remained focused on equipment aimed at efficiency and long-term value. The AEM release did not quantify the contribution of particular economic factors, so the sales figures do not establish a specific cause for the declines.
AEM published its release on December 11, 2025. Successful Farming’s article reporting the unit counts and segment detail was published on December 15, 2025; both dates are after the November sales month.
