What was the final TS DSC 2024 application deadline?
The deadline changed after the initial schedule. The original bulletin described April 2, 2024 as the fee-payment deadline and April 3 as the online application submission deadline. The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana issued DSC-2024 for 11,062 posts in Government and Local Body schools. The Telangana State Portal reported the following category-wise distribution:

When were the exam and results?
The notification was issued on February 29, 2024, and applications opened March 4. The online examination took place from July 18 through August 5, 2024. The official portal listed August 13 for the preliminary key and September 6 for the final key. TGDSC official portal
The Telangana State Portal reported that results were released on September 30, 2024. Its release also reported 279,838 applications and 246,584 candidates appearing for the written test, an attendance rate of 88.11 percent. It said 109,168 job aspirants gained eligibility after the government conducted TET following candidate requests. These are figures reported for this 2024 recruitment, not later cycles. What happened after the results?
The September 2024 state release said certificate verification would be conducted in a 1:3 ratio for each post and that appointment orders were planned for October 9, 2024. Those statements describe the government’s plans at the time; the release alone does not establish that every subsequent appointment was completed. Requirements can differ by post and recruitment notice. For any new teacher recruitment, use the current official notification for post-specific qualifications, age limits, reservation rules, and document requirements rather than relying on instructions from DSC-2024.
