It is a King James Version Bible packaged with U.S. founding documents and a handwritten chorus of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” Donald Trump promoted it, but the available reporting distinguishes that promotion and a paid license for his name, likeness and image from ownership of the storefront—and does not establish what he earns per copy.
What is the “$60 Bible”?
The product’s listed name is the God Bless The USA Bible. It was introduced in 2021 and drew renewed attention when Trump promoted it in March 2024 during Holy Week, according to Religion News Service reporting republished by Baptist Standard.

Trump urged people to get a copy in a Truth Social post quoted by the Associated Press: “Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless the USA Bible.” That is an endorsement, not evidence that he operates the seller.
What does it include?
The Associated Press’s March 2024 account describes the book as using the King James Version. In addition to the biblical text, it includes the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence and Pledge of Allegiance, as well as a handwritten chorus of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.” AP also reported that the product website described it as large-print and slim-design; those are product-description claims, not independent usability findings.
What does it cost?
The official store listed the standard edition for $59.99 when accessed on October 4, 2026. The store also listed several named editions at higher prices. Prices and inventory can change, and the store page does not establish a full feature-by-feature comparison of those editions.
| Edition listed by the store | Listed price on October 4, 2026 |
|---|---|
| Standard God Bless The USA Bible | $59.99 |
| America 250 | $99.99 |
| Presidential | $99.99 |
| First Lady | $99.99 |
| Vice Presidential | $99.99 |
| Platinum | $99.99 |
| Golden Age | $99.99 |
Those are store-listed prices, not evidence about production costs, sales volume or profit. The current listing also does not, by itself, verify what particular features distinguish each edition.

Does Trump own the seller, and how much does he make?
These are separate questions. In March 2024, AP reported that the Bible website said it was separate from Trump and his businesses, while using his name, likeness and image under a paid license from CIC Ventures LLC. AP said the license payment and Trump’s earnings per sale were not disclosed to it at the time. A licensing arrangement does not establish that Trump owned or managed the storefront.

A later figure offers a different kind of information, not a per-copy answer. RNS reported that a White House financial disclosure released in June 2025 attributed $1.3 million in 2024 income to the “Greenwood Bible” label. RNS also reported that royalties were paid under a publishing agreement with Nashville-based LMA Productions Inc. The $1.3 million is a disclosure figure for income attributed to that label; it is not a stated royalty per Bible, unit-sales count, profit total or necessarily gross sales.
Where was it printed, and what do shipment figures show?
AP’s October 2024 review of trade records found close to 120,000 copies shipped from Hangzhou, China, to the United States between early February and late March 2024. Databases using customs data estimated the shipments’ value at $342,000—less than $3 per Bible by that estimate.
That figure is an estimated shipment value, not a verified retail price, complete manufacturing-cost calculation or profit margin. Nor does the reported shipment count establish total copies sold. The available figures do not provide a confirmed overall sales total or complete net-profit figure.

Was the Bible adopted or bought for Oklahoma schools?
No statewide adoption or completed state-funded purchase is established by the reporting. AP reported in October 2024 that Oklahoma’s education chief sought 55,000 Bibles with founding documents and requested $3 million for the procurement. The state told AP that the process was open to any vendor.

RNS later reported that the legislature rejected the funding request and that Oklahoma education chief Ryan Walters subsequently launched a “Bibles for Oklahoma” donation initiative with Greenwood. A proposed procurement, an open vendor process and a later donation drive are not proof that the state bought the books with public funds or adopted this Bible statewide.
