Tricog Health’s current reported goal is to conduct 100 million cardiac screenings by 2030. Founder and CEO Dr Charit Bhograj told Press Trust of India (PTI) that the company had screened more than 41 million patients and was screening over one million patients globally each month. These are company figures relayed by its CEO, not independently audited totals in the report. Business Standard’s PTI report, October 11, 2026.
What Tricog’s 2030 target means
The target is a company growth goal, not a public-health authority’s forecast or a verified count of completed screenings. The October 2026 PTI interview reported the target as 100 million cardiac screenings by 2030, alongside Tricog’s claim that it had screened more than 41 million patients to date.

The wording has changed over time. Tricog’s April 2023 announcement described an ambition to make expert cardiac care accessible to 100 million people by 2027; a July 2025 company page instead described screening 100 million patients by 2030. The 2030 target is the current one reported by PTI, and the available sources do not establish whether the earlier 2027 goal was achieved. Tricog’s 2023 announcement; Tricog’s 2025 target page.

The reported model is designed for health facilities rather than individual consumers. Staff at primary health centres, clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals use Tricog’s VCardia ECG device to capture readings. According to Bhograj, the data is encrypted and sent to the cloud, where an algorithm identifies more than 140 heart conditions. A team of 120 doctors reviews every AI diagnosis, with final reports returned within six minutes, he told PTI.

Those figures describe the company’s reported operations; the article does not provide an independent accuracy study, audited turnaround-time assessment, or outcome analysis. The report also attributes to Bhograj a claim that Tricog’s hub-and-spoke model in urban India reduced treatment delay to over 30 minutes from a previous average of 360 minutes. It gives no underlying study details, so this should be understood as a company claim rather than independently validated evidence.

Scale figures from different years should not be treated as directly comparable without matching definitions. Tricog’s 2023 announcement cited more than 10 million patients and over 5,000 hospitals and clinics, while the 2026 interview reported more than 41 million patients screened. These are company-reported figures from different points in time, and the sources do not explain whether their counting methods are identical.

Facility screening is different from connected home monitoring
Tricog has also described KeeboHealth, a remote cardiac-care platform developed with Omron Healthcare. The company says it can integrate with Omron home ECG monitors, blood-pressure monitors, and weighing scales. This is a connected-monitoring context, distinct from VCardia’s reported facility-based ECG screening workflow.

The 100 million figure is an ambition; the more-than-41-million total and monthly screening volume are company figures relayed by its CEO. Together they indicate the scale Tricog says it has reached and the growth it is pursuing, but they do not by themselves demonstrate diagnostic accuracy, better outcomes, or how many patients received follow-up care.

For broader context, Business Standard’s report cited estimates of about 6,500 cardiologists, 50,000 physicians, and 3.1 million annual cardiovascular deaths in India. It did not identify the original dataset for those figures, so they should not be treated as independently verified statistics on the strength of that report alone.
