Forbes Australia estimated Trey Parker’s net worth at $1.2 billion in an article published July 26, 2025. That is a published estimate—not an audited account or a verified statement of his personal assets and debts. The figure is tied largely to the business behind South Park and Parker’s other creative work.

How much is Trey Parker worth?

The clearest recent individual estimate located is Forbes Australia’s July 26, 2025 estimate of $1.2 billion. Forbes reported the same estimated net worth for Parker’s creative partner, Matt Stone. The figure should be read as an estimate, not as a precise or audited personal balance sheet.

What supports the estimate?

Forbes links the pair’s wealth to Park County, their production company, which it reports is owned entirely by Parker and Stone and handles income from television, film, and stage projects, including South Park and The Book of Mormon. The size of the company’s business and the value of its rights and agreements help explain the estimate; they do not reveal the exact value of Parker’s personal holdings.

Parker’s long-running creative role is documented by Paramount/Comedy Central: its 2011 announcement said Parker and Stone had written, directed, and edited every South Park episode since the series premiered in 1997. That history helps explain the show’s commercial importance, but it is not itself evidence of a particular net worth.

How large are the South Park-related deals?

Deal headlines can look like personal wealth figures, but the reported amounts describe agreements involving the creators’ company and projects, not Parker’s individual take-home pay.

Reported figure What it describes Source and date
At least $250 million per year Annual payment under the revised Paramount agreement, as reported by Forbes Australia; not Parker’s personal annual income. Forbes Australia, July 26, 2025
More than $1.25 billion over five years The reported value of Park County’s streaming and production agreements. The Los Angeles Times said streaming compensation is counted toward the overall deal. Los Angeles Times, 2025
$12,500 per episode Historical payment to Park County from Comedy Central during South Park’s inaugural season—not a current rate or a figure for Parker alone. Los Angeles Times, 2022

The Los Angeles Times corrected an earlier version of its 2025 story: the reported combined agreements were more than $1.25 billion, not nearly $2 billion. The corrected total is the figure to use.

Why a deal total is not the same as net worth

  • Contract value describes money committed under an agreement, often over several years. It is not necessarily paid at once or to one person.
  • Company value or a potential sale value is an estimate of a business, not proof that its owner has received that amount in cash.
  • Net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities. Public deal figures do not establish Parker’s individual ownership interests, taxes, debts, or liquid assets.

The available reporting therefore supports Forbes’s dated $1.2 billion estimate and explains the business context behind it, but it does not establish Parker’s exact personal wealth today.
