That is a published estimate, not a verified financial figure: no financial filing, confirmed asset statement, or earnings breakdown in the available sources establishes her wealth.
What is Tress MacNeille’s net worth?
Celebrity Net Worth lists MacNeille’s net worth as $10 million. The site says its figures are estimates unless otherwise noted and that it draws on public sources, sometimes supplemented by private tips or feedback. It does not provide a verified calculation of MacNeille’s assets and liabilities, so the amount should be understood as that publisher’s estimate rather than a confirmed balance.

Why is her career part of the picture?
MacNeille has worked in voice performance for decades. In a 2008 Animation World Network interview with Nancy Cartwright, she described getting her first animation job on a 1979 episode of Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, after work that included radio spots, television, demos, sound-alikes, and industrial narration. The interview recounts her development through workshops, The Groundlings, and work as a casting assistant.
Her recognizable roles include Babs Bunny in Tiny Toon Adventures, Dot Warner in Animaniacs, Daisy Duck in Disney productions, and characters in The Simpsons and Futurama. TV Insider’s career biography and credits also lists recent Daisy Duck work, including credits dated 2025 and 2026.
The Television Academy records MacNeille as a 2015 nominee for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for The Simpsons episode “My Fare Lady,” for the characters Laney Fontaine, Shauna, and Mrs. Muntz. Its profile lists one Primetime Emmy nomination; that is the scope of the profile’s record, not a complete tally of every award or nomination she may have received.
What the estimate does not tell you
The estimate does not disclose MacNeille’s pay, residuals, ownership interests, investments, expenses, or liabilities. A long list of credits or an award nomination cannot establish those amounts, and neither supports a reliable calculation of personal wealth. The 2008 interview’s reference to “227 series’ credits” was part of Cartwright’s contemporaneous question, not an independently audited credit count.

The available sources therefore provide career context, not independent financial verification. They do not support treating $10 million as a precise current balance or inferring how it was accumulated.

In the 2008 interview, MacNeille advised people interested in voice-over to “recommend an improv class.” She also described a challenge of the work as “keeping it fresh and trying not to repeat myself, or at least not to get caught!” These comments offer a glimpse of her approach to performing; they are not evidence of her earnings.
