Trader Joe’s 2023 Valentine’s lineup, as documented in February roundups, ranged from raspberry desserts and chocolate candy to bouquets and heart-shaped ricotta ravioli. The lists below are examples reported by contemporary articles—not an official, complete inventory or a ranking. Their prices are historical U.S. prices, and current availability is unknown.
Sweet treats for sharing or gifting
Eat This, Not That!’s February 4, 2023 roundup described several seasonal sweets and gave item prices. Choose by the kind of treat you wanted then: a frozen dessert, a cookie to share, or candy for a small gift.
Frozen and chilled desserts
- Heart-shaped macarons: Frozen, bite-sized raspberry and vanilla-crème macarons with a strawberry center. Eat This, Not That! reported $5.49 per package in February 2023 and noted that they were not gluten-free.
- Raspberry Mousse Cakes: Six small cakes with vanilla cake, raspberry-flavored mousse and a confectionary coating. The February roundup reported $3.99. It reproduced Trader Joe’s description of them as “sweet, tart, [and] texturally sublime.”
- For the Love of Chocolate Mousse Cake: A heart-shaped chocolate layer cake with chocolate mousse filling, reported at $4.99 in the same article.
- Chocolate Raspberry Swirl: A pint combining dark chocolate ice cream and raspberry sorbet swirl. The February 2023 roundups reported $3.49.
Cookies and candy
- Dark Chocolate Mini Heart Cookies: Shortbread covered in dark chocolate and decorated with pink and white nonpareils; Eat This, Not That! reported $3.49.
- Raspberry Heart Cookies: Shortbread sandwich cookies with raspberry jam. Eat This, Not That! reported $5.49 per box; the February 6 Fearless Flyer guide listed Raspberry Hearts Cookies at $5.99 for one pound. The sources do not establish that those package and price details refer to an identical listing, so keep the reports distinct.
- Gummy X’s & O’s: Valentine-themed gummies, reported at $3.49 per bag. A flavor description in the coverage was an Instagram user’s belief, not a confirmed package or retailer description.
- Hot Cocoa Heart Melts: Heart-shaped milk-chocolate pieces with marshmallows and salted-caramel filling. The February roundup reported $3.99 and suggested melting them into milk or coffee.
The Fearless Flyer guide also listed Jelly Bean Lover’s Jelly Bean Hearts and Dark Chocolate Caramel Hearts. These are examples from a seasonal guide, not evidence of an exhaustive product list.
Flowers and small gifts
Flowers were part of the 2023 shopping picture, but the reported prices differ by article and product. The February 6 Fearless Flyer guide listed a dozen roses at $14.99 and a jumbo Valentine’s bouquet at $19.99. Sunset’s February 8 article separately reported a dozen red roses for $10 and double dozen tulips for $13. These are source-specific historical figures; the coverage does not establish that the products, locations or reporting conditions were comparable.

For a gift or display, a bouquet was a different kind of option from the individually portioned sweets. Neither roundup establishes that the same flowers were available at every store.
A heart-shaped savory dinner option
Ricotta Cuoricini Ravioli offered a themed alternative to dessert: heart-shaped pasta filled with ricotta, Parmigiano-Reggiano and balsamic reduction. Eat This, Not That! reported a cooking time of five to six minutes and a February 2023 price of $3.99. It was the clearest easy dinner idea among the featured products, rather than another sweet for a treat platter.

What the 2023 prices and availability mean now
Every specific price above comes from U.S. coverage published in February 2023; none should be read as a current quote. The Fearless Flyer guide cautioned that many seasonal items were limited-time or available while supplies lasted. The roundups are editorial selections, not an official complete inventory, and do not establish that each item appeared in every store.
Trader Joe’s says its website does not represent every product and recommends contacting a neighborhood store for product information. That makes a local store the practical place to ask about current stock; online absence alone does not confirm that an item is unavailable. Current availability of the 2023 Valentine’s products is unverified.
