When were Trader Joe’s Halloween mini totes supposed to launch?
Supermarket News reported on September 29, 2026, that the “Trick-or-Treat” mini canvas totes were scheduled for release the next day, September 30. This is the clearest reported date, but it was not an official Trader Joe’s announcement. As of October 8, the planned date is in the past.
Earlier coverage by Delish, published September 12, said Trader Joe’s was bringing the totes back for 2026 but that no drop date had been announced at that time. The later September 30 report supersedes that timing update.
What designs and product details were reported?
Supermarket News described several Halloween color combinations: black and orange; purple and neon green; black with neon-green handles and a purple bottom; and lime green with a purple handle and black bottom. It also reported that some stores might bring back an orange bag with a black logo from the 2025 set. That orange design was described as store-dependent, and the reported lineup is not an independently verified official 2026 catalog.

Delish reported Trader Joe’s product information listing the bag at $2.99 and about 13 inches long by 11 inches tall by 6 inches deep. Those are reported listing details, not a guarantee of current availability or price at every store. Trader Joe’s has an official Mini Canvas Tote Bag product page, but the accessible page does not establish current stock of the Halloween edition.
How can you check whether a local store has them?
Public reporting does not verify present inventory by location. Trader Joe’s September 3 fall story says seasonal products may be arriving at different times and recommends visiting a neighborhood store and returning often; it does not specifically confirm the Halloween totes or list store stock.
