What is Trader Joe’s Dubai-style chocolate bar?
The product is listed in Trader Joe’s online catalog as Patislove® Pistachio Dark Chocolate Dubai Style. Food Network reported at launch that Turkish chocolatier Patislove made the bar exclusively for Trader Joe’s, describing it as pistachio cream and crisp kataifi pastry covered in 50% dark chocolate. That is the launch-period brand description, not a substitute for a current verified ingredient label.
Dubai-style chocolate generally pairs a chocolate shell with pistachio cream and crunchy shredded phyllo-like pastry called kadayif; some versions also include tahini. The original style is commonly associated with milk chocolate, while Trader Joe’s was reported as a dark-chocolate variation. The Associated Press traces the original bar to Fix Chocolatier in the United Arab Emirates in 2021 and its broad social-media spread to 2023. Since then, retailers have sold many adaptations; “Dubai-style” does not mean every bar follows the same recipe or comes from Fix Chocolatier.
How much does it cost?
Trader Joe’s online catalog lists the 3.52-ounce bar at $3.99, or about $1.13 per ounce using that listed price and weight. The listing and price can change. Trader Joe’s says its website does not show every product and advises customers to contact their local store for current price and availability. The listing alone does not establish local inventory.

Is it still available at Trader Joe’s?
Trader Joe’s described the bar as a limited-time offer in May 2025. The company’s public relations manager, Nakia Rohde, told Food Network, “The exact date of its arrival in stores may vary.” The current online catalog listing indicates the product remains listed online, but it does not prove that stores are carrying it now or that it is available at every location.
For the most reliable answer, contact your nearest Trader Joe’s and ask about the Patislove Pistachio Dark Chocolate Dubai Style bar, its current price, and whether it is in stock. A store may have different availability from another location.

Are shoppers really “already obsessed”?
Food Network’s 2025 launch coverage included individual social-media reactions and anecdotal reports of quick sellouts. Those examples show launch-period buzz, not a representative measure of shopper opinion today. Trader Joe’s PR manager said the company believes customers “vote” on products with their dollars, but that statement does not establish how many shoppers bought this bar or whether it remains broadly popular.
There is evidence of a wider category surge, but it is not specific to Trader Joe’s. The Associated Press reported NielsenIQ figures showing $822,900 in U.S. retail sales of pistachio-filled chocolate during the 52 weeks ending June 28, 2025, against $16.27 billion in sales of all chocolate for the same period. Unit sales of pistachio-filled chocolates rose 1,234% year over year, while unit sales of all chocolates declined by less than 1%. These figures cover the broader pistachio-filled chocolate category, not this bar, and describe 2025 rather than current 2026 sales.

“Dubai-style” covers a growing range of products, so compare the details rather than relying on the label alone. Useful points include:
- Price per ounce: Compare the price and net weight, not just the shelf price.
- Chocolate: Check whether the coating is dark or milk chocolate.
- Filling: Look for pistachio cream and check whether tahini is included.
- Crunch: See whether the filling includes kataifi or kadayif pastry, which provides the crisp texture associated with the style.
