Torq announced a $70 million Series C on September 24, 2024, to expand its security-operations business, hire across several functions and regions, and develop more generative-AI capabilities. The round was led by Evolution Equity Partners and brought the company’s reported 2024 funding to $112 million.
What Torq’s $70 million Series C covered
Torq said the $70 million Series C brought its total funding raised in 2024 to $112 million and its total funding since its 2020 inception to $192 million. The company’s announcement named Evolution Equity Partners as the lead investor, with Bessemer Venture Partners, Notable Capital, Greenfield Partners and Strait Capital also participating. Torq’s funding announcement provides those figures and investor names.
What HyperSOC is
HyperSOC is Torq’s security-operations product, built on the company’s Hyperautomation Platform. Torq describes it as a way to automate and manage investigation, triage, remediation, case management and complex security operations center (SOC) processes at machine speed. How Torq said it would use the money
Torq said the proceeds would support expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC), hiring in engineering, research and development, and sales, and further development of generative-AI capabilities. What the round says—and does not say—about Torq’s growth
In a January 2025 update, Torq reported 300% revenue growth and 200% employee growth in 2024, and set a target of reaching $100 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) in 2026. The growth percentages are company-reported results; the $100 million figure is a future target, not realized revenue. The announcement does not establish how ARR was calculated or independently audited. Torq’s 2024 growth update is the source for these claims.
The funding announcement also cited enterprise customers including Check Point, SentinelOne, Wiz, ZoomInfo, Blackstone and Rivian, among others. Torq described a technology-partner and reseller/value-added reseller (VAR) ecosystem. These references indicate the kinds of enterprise and channel relationships the company highlighted, but they do not by themselves establish customer results, contract sizes or current partner-program terms. Torq’s announcement names the customers and partner ecosystem.

What this means for AI security operations
The financing gives Torq capital to pursue geographic expansion, hiring and generative-AI development in a market where security teams seek to automate investigation and response work. The announcement shows the company’s strategic priorities and investor backing; it does not prove that HyperSOC outperforms competing tools, that its AI reduces incident-handling time, or that the product delivers a particular return on investment. Those conclusions would require independent product and customer-performance evidence.
