These are estimates reported by Sports Illustrated/FanNation Wrestling—not confirmed WWE salaries. The outlet says exact contract figures are difficult to establish because they are private, and its list draws on salary figures, net-worth estimates and other reporting. Read the SI/FanNation list.
Top 10 WWE wrestlers by SI/FanNation’s 2024 estimates
The table reproduces the outlet’s ranking and reported annual amounts. It is a source-specific estimate list, not an official WWE payroll disclosure or a verified ranking of total earnings.
| Rank | Wrestler | Estimated annual amount | Context reported by SI/FanNation |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 (tie) | Brock Lesnar | $5 million | The outlet calls him the top-paid wrestler under contract and notes that he did not appear on WWE television in 2024. |
| 1 (tie) | Roman Reigns | $5 million | The article says he signed a 2022 deal with fewer dates and more money. |
| 3 | Randy Orton | $4 million | The article mentions a five-year extension. |
| 4 (tie) | Cody Rhodes | $3 million | The article says he signed a two-year extension ahead of WrestleMania 40. |
| 4 (tie) | AJ Styles | $3 million | The article attributes reporting on a 2022 multi-year deal to Dave Meltzer and Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp. |
| 4 (tie) | Seth Rollins | $3 million | The article says he signed a new deal in 2024. |
| 7 | The Miz | $2.5 million | Included in the outlet’s estimate list. |

| 9 | CM Punk | $1.5 million | The article says he signed a multi-year contract after returning in 2023. |

The amounts are annual estimates as presented in SI/FanNation Wrestling’s article, originally published September 23, 2024 and modified November 30, 2024. Contract details and the calculation behind each individual figure are not disclosed in a common, verifiable format. The rank numbers above preserve the source’s order while marking its three $3 million entries as ties.
Why other 2024 rankings show different salaries
There is no single agreed 2024 list in the cited coverage. Different publications report materially different amounts and include different people, so combining their numbers would create a ranking no source actually published.
#1 Best Overall
| Publication | Reported differences | What its list establishes |
|---|---|---|
| SI/FanNation Wrestling, published September 23 and modified November 30, 2024 | Lesnar and Reigns at $5 million; Orton at $4 million; ten names listed above. | A secondary-source estimate list; its article notes the limits of private contract figures. |
| Times of India, July 2024 | Lesnar at $12 million, Reigns at $5 million, Orton at $4.5 million, Triple H at $3.6 million, AJ Styles at $3.5 million, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins at $3 million, and The Undertaker, The Miz and Stephanie McMahon at $2.5 million. | A different reported list with a substantially higher Lesnar estimate and different names. See the Times of India July ranking. |
| NDTV Sports, October 2024 | Also reports Lesnar at $12 million. | Its salary list is based on several reports; it notes that top performers may also receive pay-per-view fees, merchandise shares and other perks. See NDTV Sports’ list. |
| Times of India, December 2024 | Its top ten includes Lesnar, Reigns, John Cena, Orton, Triple H, AJ Styles, Becky Lynch, The Undertaker, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. | Another list with different names; it attributes some pay claims to secondary outlets including Sportskeeda and Sports Illustrated. See the Times of India December ranking. |
These reports do not share a transparent method for separating base salary from broader compensation. Treat each figure as an outlet’s reported estimate, and compare the publication date, included talent and description of what the amount covers before drawing conclusions.

A reported annual figure is not a verified paycheck
None of the cited amounts is a WWE-published wrestler salary statistic. SI/FanNation says precise contract figures are limited by privacy and describes drawing on multiple kinds of reporting, including salary figures, net worth from 2023 to early 2024, Fightful and Wrestling Observer Newsletter. That does not establish a consistent calculation for every wrestler, so the table should be read as reported estimates rather than audited compensation.

Salary and total earnings may not be the same measure
NDTV Sports notes that top performers may receive pay-per-view fees, merchandise revenue shares and other perks. Its coverage does not provide a shared accounting method showing how those items were treated across wrestlers. As a result, a figure labeled a salary should not automatically be interpreted as total annual earnings.
Official roster pages do not verify pay
WWE’s official Superstars page is a roster and content destination, not a salary disclosure source. It cannot settle differences among media estimates.
