TNUSRB’s final result for the 2019 Sub-Inspector recruitment was reported on April 16, 2021. The result was described as a provisional selection list available as a PDF through the board’s website. Because a stable archived PDF link has not been confirmed, start at the official TNUSRB website and look for the SI 2019 final result or provisional selection list. Hindustan Times reported the declaration and result details.

Where to check the TNUSRB SI 2019 final result

  1. Open the TNUSRB official website.
  2. Look for the Sub-Inspector 2019 final result or provisional selection list notice. Contemporary reporting described the list as a PDF accessible from the board homepage.
  3. Open the relevant document and check the format and recruitment stream before searching for your details. Earlier result documents used enrolment-number-wise and roster-wise lists; written-stage reporting also distinguished open and departmental recruitment lists.
  4. Use the final selection document—not a written-exam result or viva-voce eligibility list—to determine whether a candidate appears in the reported final selection list.

The board’s historic PDF may no longer be available at the same address. If the notice cannot be found on the current site, the available reporting confirms the result announcement but does not establish a working archived PDF URL.

What the final selection list means

Hindustan Times reported on April 16, 2021, that the board had declared the 2019 final result and released a provisional selection list with category cut-off marks. The report said final selection took account of written-exam marks, PMT/PET, viva-voce and special marks. This is a historical result announcement, not a current recruitment notice.

The recruitment covered 969 Sub-Inspector vacancies: 660 in TK, 276 in AR and 33 in TSP, according to Hindustan Times’ recruitment timeline report. The viva-voce was held from February 23 to March 2, 2021, as reported in that article.

Do not mistake an earlier result list for the final merit list

Written-exam result

The written-exam result was reported on March 17, 2020. Reports described enrolment-number-wise and roster-wise lists, with separate open and departmental recruitment lists. These documents show the written-stage result, not the final selection.

Viva-voce eligibility list

A December 2020 notice identified candidates eligible for viva-voce, again in enrolment-number and roster formats. It was an intermediate stage; the viva-voce took place later, from February 23 to March 2, 2021.

Final selection list

The final selection list was reported in April 2021. For confirmation of final selection, look specifically for the SI 2019 final result or provisional selection list, rather than a notice naming candidates eligible for a later stage. The distinction between those stages is reflected in the December viva-voce eligibility report, the written-exam result report and the final-result report.
