The notification directs candidates to Government Order (Ms.) No. 53, Higher Education (G1) Department, dated 27 February 2023, for the eligibility conditions. A contemporaneous summary by Scroll describes the broad criteria as Tamil Nadu nativity and a postgraduate degree from a recognized institution located in Tamil Nadu. TRB’s Annual Planner 2024 listed 120 CMRF vacancies and tentatively projected a June 2024 notification and a September 2024 examination. The planner described its schedule as tentative; those projections do not confirm that the dates occurred or establish that registration is open now. The available information also does not establish the fellowship amount, its duration, the examination pattern, or current portal availability.

For a future application, rely on a new official TRB notification for the current dates, eligibility rules, selection details, and application instructions rather than reusing the expired 2023–24 deadline.
