TNPSC listed the tentative answer key for the Group IV examination held on 12 July 2025 on 21 July. Under the Commission’s seven-day challenge rule, the deadline calculated from that publication date was 28 July 2025. That date has passed. TNPSC’s answer-key listing also shows a later entry dated 17 November 2025, but its displayed row does not label it a final key.

How the answer-key challenge process worked
TNPSC’s notification directed candidates to submit any challenge to a tentative answer key only through the online mode and within seven days of publication. It states that mail and email representations will not receive attention. Since the listed publication date was 21 July 2025, the date calculated under that rule was 28 July 2025; submissions are no longer within that window.
The Commission says timely online challenges are referred to a committee of subject experts, and that the final key is based on the committee’s recommendations. TNPSC also says it will not publish the final answer key until the entire selection process is complete. These are the Commission’s stated procedures in its examination notification.

OMR instructions relevant to checking responses
The Group IV addendum’s OMR instructions say candidates must use a black-ink ballpoint pen and darken a bubble for each of the 200 questions. Candidates who do not know an answer are instructed to mark option E. If more than one bubble is darkened for a question, the answer will not be evaluated. See the TNPSC Group IV addendum.
