Is the TNPSC Group 4 application window open now?
No. TNPSC’s 2025 application deadline has passed, so candidates cannot apply under Notification No. 07/2025. TNPSC issued the notification on April 25, 2025, and set the online application deadline for May 24, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. The commission also provided a correction window from May 29 through May 31, 2025, ending at 11:59 p.m. These dates are recorded in the official notification.
TNPSC scheduled the written examination for July 12, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Its answer-key listing records July 12 as the exam date and July 21, 2025, as the answer-key date. The official information cited here does not confirm a later application window for 2026. Check TNPSC’s official notices for any new cycle rather than relying on an old “apply now” headline.
How many vacancies were there in TNPSC Group 4 2025?
The 3,935 vacancies were the count in the original Notification No. 07/2025, not the final updated total. TNPSC subsequently added vacancies in two addenda, and Addendum 7C/2025 reported a cumulative total of 5,307.

How applications worked for the 2025 notification
TNPSC instructed applicants to apply online through its examination site and complete One Time Registration before submitting an examination application. The notification states: “Applications are invited only through online mode for direct recruitment to the posts in Combined Civil Services Examination – IV (Group IV Services).” Those instructions applied to the now-closed 2025 recruitment.

Do not assume that the 2025 dates or 5,307-vacancy total carry over to a future notification.
