Candidates can now consult MRB’s recruitment listing for the final answer keys and later score and selection materials; the old notice is not an open opportunity to submit objections.
What the January 2025 notice covered
MRB’s notice, dated January 8, 2025, concerned Notification No. 01/MRB/2024 and the computer-based Assistant Surgeon (General) examination held on January 5, 2025. It said the tentative answer keys for both the Tamil Eligibility Test and the subject paper would be released together. The title’s “2024” refers to the recruitment notification; the exam and objection deadline were in January 2025. Read the official MRB notice.
When and how objections could be submitted
Candidates could submit an objection or representation on either key through the online objection tracker on the MRB website by January 11, 2025, at 11:59 pm. The tracker deadline has passed.
MRB required supporting evidence from standard textbooks. The notice stated, “For any objections, candidates should give proof from standard Text Books only.” It also said guides and notes would not be entertained, and unsupported representations would be summarily rejected. Objections were accepted only through the online tracker within the stipulated time—not by email, courier, India Post, or in person.

How the Tamil Eligibility Test affected evaluation
MRB said it would evaluate and publish subject-paper results only for candidates who qualified in the Tamil Eligibility Test. The notice cited Health and Family Welfare Department G.O. Ms. No. 208, dated July 11, 2022. This condition concerned evaluation of the subject paper; it did not extend the objection deadline.
Where to find the later answer-key and selection materials
MRB’s Assistant Surgeon (General) recruitment listing includes final keys for the Tamil and subject papers, score information, and selection-list materials. Use that listing for subsequent documents rather than treating the January notice about tentative keys as the current status.
