Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsVerdict: treat Tickticktrader as unverified, not as a proven good prop trading firm. I could not establish enough independently verifiable information about its legal operator, financial track record, trading rules, payout history, or current operating status to recommend paying for a challenge.
That does not, by itself, prove Tickticktrader is a scam. It means the burden of proof has not been met. Prop-firm customers generally pay a fee for access to a simulated evaluation, and the important question is not whether the advertised account size looks attractive. It is whether the company clearly explains its rules, applies them consistently, pays successful traders, and gives customers a realistic remedy when something goes wrong.
What is Tickticktrader?
Tickticktrader appears to be presented as a proprietary-trading evaluation business rather than a conventional broker. That distinction matters. A prop firm typically does not give customers a normal brokerage account containing the advertised account balance. Instead, the trader usually pays for an evaluation or funded-account program subject to drawdown, consistency, prohibited-strategy, and payout rules.
Before purchasing, confirm the legal structure in the firm’s terms. Look for:

- the exact legal company name;
- its registered address and jurisdiction;
- the entity responsible for payment obligations;
- whether accounts are simulated or connected to live markets;
- the governing law and dispute procedure; and
- the company’s refund and chargeback provisions.
A brand name, social-media account, Discord group, or payment page is not the same thing as a verifiable business identity.
Is Tickticktrader a scam?
There is not enough reliable evidence here to make a definitive fraud accusation. However, there is also not enough verified evidence to classify Tickticktrader as a dependable prop firm. For a customer deciding whether to spend money, that distinction leads to the same practical conclusion: do not buy unless you can verify the company and its rules yourself.
A positive Trustpilot score, screenshots of withdrawals, or affiliate reviews would not settle the issue. Those items can be useful leads, but they do not prove that the firm has adequate reserves, stable ownership, fair execution, or a binding obligation to pay every qualifying trader.
What should be verified before paying?
| Check | What to look for | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Legal identity | Company name, registration number, address, and named operator | You need to know who would be liable for a refund or unpaid payout. |
| Program rules | Daily loss formula, total drawdown, reset time, minimum trading days, and prohibited strategies | Vague rules allow a firm to reject an account after the trader has paid. |
| Payout terms | Eligibility, minimum withdrawal, processing time, profit split, review powers, and payout caps | “Fast payouts” is meaningless without enforceable conditions. |
| Refund policy | When refunds are available and whether a chargeback triggers account closure | Some firms make fees effectively non-refundable after a single trade. |
| Platform and execution | Platform provider, price feed, spread policy, slippage policy, and server-time zone | Execution disputes can change whether a trader breaches a loss limit. |
| Customer support | A working support email, response times, and escalation process | Support is especially important when a payout or account access issue occurs. |

Daily-loss calculations
“5% daily loss” is incomplete unless the firm explains how it is calculated. Ask whether the limit uses starting-of-day equity, balance, highest equity, or a moving watermark. Also check whether floating losses, commissions, swaps, and open-trade profits count.

For example, if a $100,000 account has a 5% daily limit, the permitted loss might be $5,000. But a rule based on equity can be breached by an open position even when the trade has not been closed. A reset at midnight server time can also differ from the trader’s local midnight.
Maximum drawdown
Determine whether the total drawdown is static or trailing. A 10% static drawdown remains tied to the initial balance. A 10% trailing drawdown can rise with account profits and may eventually sit close to the current balance. Those are materially different products.
Consistency requirements
Some firms limit the percentage of total profits that can come from one day or one trade. These requirements may not cause an account breach, but they can prevent a payout. The exact formula should be published before purchase, including whether losses are included in the calculation.
News, overnight, and weekend trading
Do not rely on marketing phrases such as “trade freely.” Check whether restrictions apply to:

- As a day trader, you can live and work anywhere in the world. You can decide when to work and when not to work.
- You only answer to yourself. That is the life of the successful day trader. Many people aspire to it, but very few succeed. Day trading is not gambling or an online poker game.
- To be successful at day trading you need the right tools and you need to be motivated, to work hard, and to persevere.
- opening trades before high-impact economic announcements;
- holding positions through market close;
- holding positions over weekends;
- using a stop-loss during volatile events;
- copying trades between accounts; and
- automated trading, expert advisors, or third-party trade copiers.
Definitions matter. A position opened after the weekly market open may still be treated as weekend exposure if the firm’s terms define the restriction broadly.
How to check the company independently
- Save the website and terms. Download the rules, pricing page, refund policy, and payout policy as PDFs before purchasing. Record the date and time.
- Identify the operator. Search the stated legal name in the relevant corporate registry. A registration confirms that an entity exists; it does not confirm solvency or regulatory approval.
- Check regulatory claims. If the firm claims to be a broker, investment manager, or futures intermediary, search the SEC’s Investment Adviser Public Disclosure database, FINRA BrokerCheck, and the NFA BASIC system as appropriate. Do not assume a prop-firm evaluation business is regulated merely because it uses trading terminology.
- Search for complaints by payment and payout terms. Use searches such as
Tickticktrader payout,Tickticktrader refund,Tickticktrader account breach, andTickticktrader terms. Separate first-hand evidence from affiliate content. - Test support before paying. Ask a specific question about the daily-loss calculation and request the answer in writing. A vague response before purchase is a warning about support after purchase.
- Use a payment method with a clear dispute process. Never send cryptocurrency or an irreversible bank transfer simply because the firm offers a discount for doing so.
Common red flags
- Only a brand name is shown, with no legal operator or physical address.
- The website promises guaranteed income or describes passing as easy.
- Rules are spread across Discord messages rather than a dated, public document.
- The firm can cancel trades or deny payouts using broad “risk management” language.
- There is no published payout history that can be checked beyond screenshots.
- Support refuses to explain how drawdown, slippage, or consistency is calculated.
- The company repeatedly changes domains, ownership, rules, or payment processors.
- Customers are pressured to buy immediately using countdown timers or “last chance” discounts.
Are prop-firm challenges worth the risk?
They may be useful for traders who understand that the fee is speculative and who can lose it without financial stress. They are unsuitable as a substitute for emergency savings, debt repayment, or dependable income.
The advertised account size should not be treated as money available to withdraw. A trader should budget on the assumption that the entire challenge fee will be lost. If passing depends on taking unusually large risk, the program is not providing a practical path to income; it is selling a high-pressure trading test.
Also remember that simulated trading programs can impose rules that do not resemble ordinary investing. A trader can be profitable in a market and still fail because of a trailing drawdown, consistency condition, prohibited holding period, or technical breach.
Tickticktrader review: final assessment
Tickticktrader does not currently have enough independently verified information for a positive recommendation. The appropriate classification is unverified and high risk, rather than “proven scam.” That assessment could change if the firm provides a clearly identifiable operator, transparent current rules, credible payout evidence, and a reliable record of resolving customer disputes.
Until then, do not confuse a large notional account, a promotional profit split, or online testimonials with a contractual guarantee. If you still consider the program, read the complete terms, preserve copies of every page, start with the smallest affordable fee, and do not deposit money needed for living expenses.

Is Tickticktrader regulated?
A prop-firm evaluation website should not be assumed to be regulated like a broker. Check its legal claims directly in SEC IAPD, FINRA BrokerCheck, or the NFA BASIC database where relevant. A company registration is not the same as financial regulation.
Can Tickticktrader be called a scam?
Not without reliable evidence establishing deliberate deception or unlawful conduct. The safer conclusion is that it is unverified if its operator, payout record, and enforceable terms cannot be independently confirmed.

What happens if a prop firm refuses a payout?
Save the account history, rulebook, support messages, payment receipt, and payout decision. Request the exact rule and calculation in writing. Then use the payment provider’s dispute process, subject to its deadlines and terms.
Are prop-firm account balances real money?
Often they are simulated notional balances rather than cash deposited in a brokerage account. Read the risk disclosure and terms to determine whether trades are simulated, copied to live accounts, or used only for evaluation.
What is the safest way to try a prop firm?
Treat the fee as fully losable, use a reversible payment method, buy the smallest program if you proceed, save the rules before trading, and avoid any firm whose legal identity or payout conditions are unclear.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: Tickticktrader is not sufficiently verified to recommend as a good prop trading firm. That is not proof of a scam, but it is enough reason to avoid paying until the company’s operator, rules, payout obligations, and customer-support record can be checked independently.
