Three winning entries from New South Wales shared the $90 million Division One prize in the Oz Lotto draw held on Boxing Day, 26 December 2023. PerthNow reported that each entry received $32,629,794. Lotterywest confirmed that three NSW tickets won Division One and that no Western Australian ticket matched the top prize.
How much did each winning entry receive?
PerthNow reported a payout of $32,629,794 for each of the three Division One entries. The draw carried an advertised $90 million top prize; that advertised pool and the reported amount per entry are different figures. Lotterywest’s 27 December release confirmed the three-ticket share but did not state the per-entry payout.
Lotterywest also said its nine-week Oz Lotto jackpot run had raised $18.5 million for grants. That was a community-grants figure, not part of the prize pool.
Where were the winning entries?
All three Division One winning tickets were from New South Wales, according to Lotterywest. The release said no Western Australian ticket won the top prize. PerthNow separately reported one WA Division Two winner, who received $52,070.

What were the Boxing Day Oz Lotto numbers?
PerthNow listed the main numbers as 17, 22, 24, 28, 31, 42 and 44. The supplementary numbers were 3, 16 and 39. Lotterywest’s release confirmed the Division One result but did not include the number list.
How significant was the $90 million draw?
PerthNow described the draw as the second-biggest prize offered in Oz Lotto’s 30-year history and the second-largest prize offered in Australia in 2023, behind the $100 million Powerball draws in June and August. That historical comparison is PerthNow’s characterization.
