Its headline says the list is based on more than 145,000 customer reviews, but the page does not identify the review sources or explain how it counted reviews or calculated ranks. That makes the list a starting point for comparing snacks—not a verified ranking of 50 products or a guide to current prices and stock.
What the “top 50” article actually ranks
The Aisle of Shame article, by Luiren Zamesa, presents ten products in numbered order, followed by five categories of five products each. The 25 products in those categories are named, but they are not individually ranked. The visible page therefore supports a numbered top ten and 25 additional suggestions—not 50 individually ranked snacks.
The article says it compiled the list from “over 145,000 customer reviews.” It does not name the review platforms, give a collection period or counting method, or publish a ranking formula. The figure is the article’s claim; the available information does not let readers independently verify the total or reproduce the order.

How to use the list without overspending
A popular-sounding pick is not automatically a good fit for your budget or household. Use the list to identify candidates, then compare the details that determine what you will actually pay and use.
- Match the snack to the occasion. A portable, individually portioned item serves a different purpose from a large package meant to share. Consider when and how often your household will eat it.
- Compare package size and price per serving. A low shelf price can still mean a poor fit if the package is larger than you can use. Check the quantity and serving information on the package and calculate the cost using the portion you expect to eat.
- Check current price and availability. The article was published on October 27, 2024, and does not establish today’s Costco prices or inventory. Verify both at the time and location where you plan to shop.
- Read the current ingredients and nutrition label. Product names and the article’s categories are not substitutes for checking what is in the package you are buying.
- Think about texture and flavor. The article’s mix spans sweet and savory, crunchy and chewy, and portable and shareable options. Choose based on what your household will actually enjoy, rather than treating rank as a guarantee.
What the article can—and cannot—tell you
The page provides a dated set of product names and an editorial order for its first ten entries. It does not establish present-day prices, stock, package details, nutrition, or ingredients. Those can vary over time and should be checked against the product and store available to you.

Its review-count claim also has limits: without named review platforms and a disclosed counting and ranking method, “more than 145,000” is not enough information to determine which customers or products were included or how reviews affected the order. Treat the ranking as one source of ideas, not as a measure of current value or a guarantee that a snack will suit your needs.
