Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Alsaud tops Forbes Middle East’s 2026 ranking of the richest Arabs, with an estimated net worth of $19.9 billion. Forbes’ first ten rank positions include eleven people because two brothers share tenth place. The estimates are dated March 1, 2026—not live account balances.

Forbes’ ten richest Arab rank positions in 2026

Forbes Middle East’s “The World’s Richest Arabs 2026” (الأثرياء العرب لعام 2026) lists people of Arab origin in Arabic-speaking countries in the Middle East and North Africa who appear on Forbes’ 40th annual global billionaires list. The table follows the ranking’s position labels. Its first ten positions contain eleven people because Najib Mikati and Taha Mikati are tied at number ten.

“Not stated” means the accessible text of Forbes’ 2026 ranking identifies the person but does not expose an exact figure there. It is not a zero or an estimate; no unsupported values are filled in.

How to read the estimates

Forbes says the wealth estimates were calculated as of March 1, 2026. Net worth is an estimate of assets minus liabilities at that cutoff, not cash available to spend or a continuously updated balance. The figures should be read as a dated ranking snapshot.

The list is also not a ranking of every wealthy Arab person or family in the world. It applies Forbes Middle East’s stated inclusion definition and draws from those appearing on the 2026 global billionaires list. Family entries are identified as such in the ranking, so they should not be treated as directly equivalent to a named individual’s fortune.

What changed in the broader Arab billionaire list

Forbes Middle East counted 36 Arab billionaires from seven countries in 2026, with combined estimated net worth of $137.3 billion. Its 2026 page compares that with $128.4 billion across 39 people in 2025: the reported total rose by $8.9 billion, or 7%, while the number of listed people fell by three. These are Forbes’ list totals for the respective years, not measures of all wealth in the region.

Which countries lead the ranking?

By Forbes Middle East’s 2026 list, Saudi Arabia has the most representation and the largest combined fortune among the countries highlighted: 11 people with $49 billion in combined estimated net worth. The UAE follows with seven people and $35.4 billion. Egypt and Lebanon each have six people; Forbes reports $23.8 billion for Egypt and $13.9 billion for Lebanon.

These country figures aggregate the fortunes of people included in the ranking. They do not represent national wealth, average household wealth, government assets, sovereign wealth funds, or the wealth of every family in a country.
