The STERNGLAS Asthet automatic watch was a crowdfunding launch that ended on February 11, 2021. Its Kickstarter campaign raised €338,630 against a €30,000 goal, backed by 1,249 people. The campaign advertised a €299 price, but that was campaign-era wording—not a current price. Today, the brand’s detailed listing covers the Asthet Edition Lumare specifically and marks that edition sold out.
What was the STERNGLAS Asthet Kickstarter?
The Asthet was presented as a classic Bauhaus-inspired mechanical watch. STERNGLAS creator Dustin Fontaine launched the Kickstarter campaign in Hamburg, Germany, in the Product Design category. The campaign ran from January 21 through February 11, 2021, a 20-day period.
It raised €338,630 toward a €30,000 goal, or approximately 11.3 times the target, with 1,249 backers. These figures show how the campaign performed as crowdfunding; they do not establish the watch’s accuracy, reliability, or long-term performance. Kickstarter campaign page
What did the campaign offer?
The campaign’s product description said: “A classic Bauhaus-inspired mechanical watch for only 299€. Domed sapphire glass, ultra-slim design and a high-quality movement.” That is STERNGLAS’s promotional description from 2021. The €299 figure is historical campaign copy, not a current retail price, and the phrase “high-quality movement” is not an independent assessment.

In a December 2020 prelaunch announcement, STERNGLAS said backers could cancel until the campaign ended, would not be charged if the funding goal was missed, and would be charged after the campaign ended. What are the Asthet Edition Lumare specifications?
The current official product information cited here is for the Asthet Edition Lumare, model S02-ASL06-PR07. It should not be treated as a complete specification sheet for every Kickstarter reward or Asthet variant.

Is the STERNGLAS Asthet still available?
The official Lumare listing says that this edition is sold out and will not return to the STERNGLAS store. The brand suggests authorized specialist retailers may still have stock, but the listing does not establish current inventory at any particular retailer, marketplace, or resale seller. Check the exact model and seller’s current stock before relying on an availability claim.

The Lumare listing gives a 20 mm lug width and describes a quick-change strap system. That makes 20 mm a useful starting point when looking for an accessory, but width alone does not confirm fit across every Asthet variant. Check the watch’s exact model and the strap attachment hardware—especially whether it uses the same quick-release or spring-bar arrangement—before buying a replacement.
