The distinction matters because rankings that combine former investors with the current panel answer a different question from rankings of the people appearing regularly now. Parade also includes former Shark Kevin Harrington, estimated at $400 million, in its broader comparison.

Other publications give different figures. TheStreet’s 2025 comparison put Cuban at $5.7 billion to $7.8 billion and Herjavec at $300 million to $600 million, while Parade’s 2026 article gives Cuban a $6 billion–$6.5 billion range and Herjavec a $600 million point estimate. Different publication dates, sources and estimation methods can shift both a person’s figure and their position in a ranking.
Net worth also does not show how much cash a Shark can invest at a given moment, nor does it measure the quality or outcomes of that person’s deals on the show. A wealth ranking is not an investment-performance ranking.
