In an article dated August 28, 2021, Becker Automotive Design reported that Dre’s latest purchase at that time was a stretched Cadillac Escalade customized by the company. Becker described a flat-screen television and a digital system for browsing Dre’s home film library.
The article reproduces an Economist article and quotes Dre explaining the appeal of the rear-seat setup: “I like to close the curtains, relax and watch Martin Scorsese films.” The report documents what Becker said about the vehicle and its customization in 2021; “latest purchase” refers to that report’s date, not to a present-day update.

Is Dr. Dre’s car collection worth $1.2 million?
VIPFortunes used “$1.2 Million” in its 2025 headline, but that figure is an outlet estimate, not a verified valuation. The available reporting does not provide a complete, confirmed inventory or a transparent method for calculating a current total. What can—and can’t—be concluded
The clearest picture is historical rather than current: Dre recalled buying several cars, including Ferraris, Mercedes and Corvettes; Becker reported a customized Escalade purchase in 2021; and a 2025 secondary list names additional models. The sources do not establish which cars remain in his possession, their current condition, or a complete present-day inventory.
