Its current news index and US store listing do not announce a delay. Separately, Ubisoft has described a proposed restructuring that could affect approximately 55 roles across two Swedish studios; the available reporting does not connect that proposal to the DLC’s schedule.
When is The Division 2’s next DLC coming out?
Ubisoft’s current news index identifies Echoes of Central Park as an upcoming DLC, with a November 3, 2026 release date. The company’s US store catalog lists the same date. Those are the clearest current official sources for the expansion’s schedule: Ubisoft’s news index and Ubisoft’s US store.

Neither page announces that Echoes of Central Park has been delayed. That does not settle whether an earlier, separate schedule change occurred: the original announcement behind the delay claim, its date, and its previous target date are not established by the current official listings.

On January 13, 2026, TechRadar reported that Ubisoft said a proposed restructuring could affect approximately 55 roles across its Swedish studios, Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft Stockholm. The figure describes potential impact, not a confirmed final layoff count. The report does not establish that 55 people were laid off or that the proposed changes affected the team working on this DLC. See TechRadar’s report.

In the statement quoted by TechRadar, Ubisoft said: “These proposed changes are forward-looking and structural, they are not related to individual performance, recent deliveries, or the quality of the work produced by the teams.” That statement describes Ubisoft’s characterization of the proposed restructuring; it does not address the expansion’s release date.
Are the staffing changes affecting the DLC’s schedule?
The sources reviewed do not establish a causal link between the proposed staffing changes and a delay to Echoes of Central Park. The staffing report concerns a proposed organizational change, while Ubisoft’s news index and store provide the current announced release date. Treating the two as connected would go beyond what those sources say.
