Update: Disney’s Cyber Monday 2025 promotion has ended. The offer ran through 11:59 p.m. Pacific time on December 1, 2025, or 2:59 a.m. Eastern time on December 2. It offered the ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu Bundle to new and eligible returning U.S. subscribers for $4.99 per month for 12 months.
That price is no longer a current offer as of August 2026. The details below explain what the promotion included, who qualified, and why it was attractive at the time. Check Disney’s current plan page for any replacement promotion.

What the Cyber Monday deal included
The promotion was legitimate and came from Disney’s own subscription offer. It reduced the price of the Disney+ and Hulu Bundle with ads from the then-current $12.99 monthly price to $4.99 per month for 12 months.

Disney described the promotion in its official offer terms.

How much the deal saved
At the prices used for the promotion, 12 months cost $59.88 at the promotional rate. Paying the $12.99 regular monthly price for the same period would have cost $155.88.
- Monthly savings: $8
- Approximate 12-month savings: $96
- Approximate discount: 61%
Those calculations exclude taxes and are based on Disney’s regular price at the time. Subscription prices can change, so the $12.99 figure should not be treated as a current August 2026 price.

What subscribers got
The bundle combined Disney+ programming from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic with Hulu programming such as Hulu Originals, FX-related shows, reality programming, and selected current television content.
Contemporary coverage highlighted titles including The Bear, along with 2025 releases such as Freakier Friday, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Those examples were relevant around Cyber Monday 2025; streaming catalogs change by date and country.
The bundle did not put every Hulu title inside Disney+. Some selected Hulu programming could be accessed through Disney+, while additional content required the Hulu app. The services also included advertising, and the bundle was not a substitute for Hulu + Live TV.

Who qualified?
Disney limited the promotion to U.S. residents who were at least 18 and had a new or eligible returning account. “Eligible returning” did not mean every former subscriber automatically qualified.
The stated exclusions included:
- Current Disney+ subscribers
- Current Hulu subscribers
- Current ESPN subscribers
- Existing bundle subscribers
- Annual subscribers
- Accounts with a subscription pending cancellation
If the checkout page showed a different price, the account might not have qualified, the offer might have expired, or a different plan—such as a premium or ESPN bundle—might have been selected. The safest approach during the sale was to rely on the offer displayed after signing in at Disney rather than assuming eligibility from a headline.
The renewal warning mattered
After 12 discounted months, the subscription automatically renewed at $12.99 per month or Disney’s then-current regular monthly price. The $4.99 rate did not remain locked in.
Anyone signing up mainly for a particular show or holiday viewing period should have set a calendar reminder before the promotional year ended. Disney’s terms said cancellation took effect at the end of the billing period, with no refund or credit for a partial month. Billing and cancellation rules could also differ when a subscription was purchased through a third party.
Which viewers benefited most?
A good fit
- Households that wanted both Disney+ and Hulu for much of the year
- Families and fans of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars
- Viewers interested in Hulu Originals, FX programming, or selected current-TV content
- Price-sensitive customers willing to watch ads
- Eligible new or returning U.S. subscribers
A poor fit
- Existing Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, or bundle subscribers who did not qualify
- Viewers who wanted ad-free streaming
- People who needed only one service
- Households seeking live news, sports, or a broad live-channel lineup
- Customers outside the United States
- Anyone considering the promotion after its December 2025 expiration
Separate alternatives—not versions of the $4.99 deal
Disney also promoted different bundles during the 2025 holiday period:
- Premium Disney+ and Hulu Bundle: Listed at $14.99 per month for 12 months, then $19.99 per month or the then-current regular price. This was the higher-priced option for viewers seeking fewer or no ordinary on-demand ads.
- Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited: The ad-supported version was promoted at $29.99 per month for 12 months, while a premium version was listed at $38.99 per month. That separate promotion ran through January 5, 2026.
- Hulu + Live TV: A different product for viewers seeking live news, sports, entertainment channels, and a broader cable-replacement service. The $4.99 bundle did not include it.
These were separate offers with different prices, eligibility rules, and end dates. A sports viewer should compare Disney’s current plans rather than assume the $4.99 bundle includes ESPN access.
Bottom line
The $4.99 Disney+ and Hulu promotion was an excellent one-year price for eligible U.S. viewers who wanted both ad-supported services. But it was never a permanent rate, excluded many existing or annual subscribers, required some Hulu viewing through the Hulu app, and renewed automatically at a higher price.
Most importantly for readers finding this article now, the Cyber Monday 2025 offer is over. Any $4.99 price shown in a later year should be treated as a new promotion and verified directly on Disney’s official site.
