REI Member Days 2026 ran from March 13 through March 23, so its advertised discounts have ended. REI’s highlighted equipment deal was 40% off Campwell and Wonderland tents and footprints; other offers covered a full-price item, REI Outlet, used gear, bike services and selected travel. If you’re shopping now, check REI’s live promotions rather than relying on the expired MEMBER26 code.
What were the best REI Member Days deals?
REI’s March 6, 2026 announcement highlighted the following member offers for the 11-day event. Specific terms and exclusions applied, and REI said additional limited-time offers could appear during the sale, so this is not necessarily a complete list.
| Offer | What REI announced |
|---|---|
| Full-price item | 20% off one full-price item with code MEMBER26. |
| REI Outlet | An extra 20% off one online REI Outlet item with code MEMBER26; REI also highlighted 50% off REI Outlet Flash Deals. A member collection ran through March 17, with a new collection scheduled for March 18. |
| Campwell tents and footprints | 40% off REI Co-op Campwell tents and footprints. |
| Wonderland tents and footprints | 40% off REI Co-op Wonderland tents and footprints. |
| Used gear | 20% off one used Re/Supply gear item. |
| Bike services | 50% off brake and shifting adjustments or $50 off a bike tune package at REI Co-op Shop locations. |
| Intrepid Travel | $100 off selected trips for qualifying bookings made March 13–April 13, 2026, for trips departing April 13–December 15, 2026. Exclusions applied. |
| In-store events | Events at more than 30 locations on March 14, 11 a.m.–3 p.m. local time, with select local partners and member-exclusive giveaways while supplies lasted. |
These details come from REI’s March 6, 2026 announcement. The Intrepid booking and departure windows extended beyond the retail event, but the offer itself was time-limited and is also over.
Which outdoor equipment deals stood out?
Campwell and Wonderland tents
The clearest named equipment discounts were 40% off REI Co-op Campwell and Wonderland tents and footprints. The announcement does not provide model-by-model specifications or identify which capacities were included, so it cannot establish which tent was the better buy for a particular trip. A useful comparison would look at capacity, packed weight, season and weather design, setup style, whether a footprint is included, and the price available now.

How to compare the tents for a future purchase
- Match capacity to the number of occupants and the gear that needs to fit inside.
- Compare packed weight if you will carry the tent, not just transport it by car.
- Check intended season and weather protection against the conditions you expect.
- Confirm setup style and whether the footprint is included or sold separately.
- Compare today’s price and the exact model; a past sale percentage does not establish a current price or discount.
Is REI Member Days the same as the Anniversary Sale?
No. Member Days ran March 13–23, 2026. REI’s separate Anniversary Sale ran May 15–25, 2026, with a different set of offers. The fact that an item was included in the Anniversary Sale does not mean it was a Member Days deal. REI’s May 8 announcement identifies the Anniversary Sale dates.
What did membership mean for these deals?
REI described the advertised Member Days offers as member deals. Its March 2026 announcement listed a one-time $30 membership fee and benefits including annual Co-op Member Rewards, Re/Supply access, free standard U.S. shipping, a one-year satisfaction guarantee window, and discounts on shop services and travel. The announcement’s 10% reward description applies to eligible purchases; it is not a universal discount on every item. REI also reported $200 million in annual Co-op Member Rewards and 26 million members in 2026. These are figures attributed to REI, not independent measurements.
