When did Nordstrom’s 2025 Black Friday sale start?
Nordstrom’s press gallery said the retailer was “kicking off Black Friday savings early, starting 11/4.” Its 2025 announcement described savings of up to 40% on items across women’s, men’s, kids’ and home categories, and said new deals would be added November 19. Why did some prices differ during November?
Sale prices could shift over the course of the event. For example, Tom’s Guide reported adidas Gazelle Indoor sneakers at $50, down from $120, in its November 4, 2025 early-sale coverage. A large percentage off does not establish that an item is the best value. For a historical comparison—or when evaluating similar offers in a future sale—consider the price against your budget and needs, then check:
- Material and construction: Compare what the item is made of and how it is built with the price you would actually pay.
- Fit and availability: Sizing and color options can be limited during a sale; a listed price matters only if the desired version is available.
